Carter wasn't sure what to expect upon returning to Bremerton. Fitzgerald had promised not to share what she knew but that didn't mean the rumors didn't fly. Scuttlebutt could travel faster and even be more accurate than truth. The fact that she wasn't met at the base entrance by an armed guard waiting to escort her to the brig suggested scuttlebutt hadn't quite lived up to its reputation yet. Hiding her sigh of relief, the submarine made her way to her dock. To her delight, her older sister Connecticut was there as well. She rarely saw her sibling and was grateful when she was transferred to the West Coast. The eldest sibling and class pathfinder Seawolf had yet to make that transition from Norfolk. Traeger would find a good friend in her though if she was mindful enough to look. Seawolf was often reclusive and did not make friends easily.
