"She is just a kid and probably isn't well. She didn't do anything intentionally." Natalie explains. Arnold pulled her closer and hugged her tightly.
"Do not ever scare me this way. I won't forgive myself if anything ever happens to you." He whispered.
"I'm sorry." Natalie apologized after a moment of silence. She lost her voice and was speechless about what to say. She didn't realize that Arnold saw when the child pounce on her and bite her.
"So, why did you come here?." Arnold asked. Moving to his seat.
"Because I miss you. You haven't been home for a few days. Do I not have the right to miss you?."
Natalie lamented. She became too emotional that a stray tear found its way down her face.
