Hangout

After brooding on his past attitude towards Oh Ji-Soo, Kim Ji-hun failed to find an answer to the question he posed to himself.

Feeling defeated by his mind and unable to do any other work for the day, he made a call to ask a friend out for drinks.

"Dae-Jung let's meet for drinks now."

"Why suddenly?" Dae-Jung asked, a bit surprised by his gesture.

"Haven't you been looking for an opportunity to spend my money?" Kim Ji-Hun retorted as he slipped his hand inside his front trouser pocket.

He sounded as if he was doing him a favour whereas, he was the one looking for a company to keep his mind sane.

But due to the level of pride he still had stored in him, he couldn't admit to it.

"You look like you have my time today. Let's go for a drink then."

Since a certain someone was willing to hang out and spend his money, Dae-Jun would gladly oblige.

But when last did they see each other?

One was the Boss of a big architectural company, while the other was the owner of a start-up IT company.

Both were successful, but one of them was a workaholic.

It would be great if they both relaxed a bit once in a while.

"Come and pick me up."

"What happened to your driver?"

"He has retired for the day."

"You can take a cab you know."

"I don't trust them."

"Ji-hun, I am not a professional driver you know, right?"

"At least you are better than me who can't even drive."

There was a few seconds of silence before Dae-Jung spoke up again. "This is so much for taking free drinks from you."

"I will let you drink to your heart's content."

"Fine, I'm coming. You better not change your mind."

"As long as you will find a way to send me back home." Saying that Kim Ji-hun quickly terminated the call without waiting to hear his response.

Actually, he did not want to hear it in the first place as he didn't want to hear a negative response.

Smiling at his transaction's success, he strode to his room to get ready.

*******

By the time Oh Ji-Soo finished having her lunch, she was so exhausted that she went in to take a nap.

But the nap turned out to be longer than usual, and she would have slept in if Su-Jin didn't call to check up on her.

Hearing her phone ring from deep in her sleep, Oh Ji-Soo quickly sprang up from the bed.

Thinking that her company's evil president was the one on the line, she picked up her phone and answered the call.

It is not easy to forget a habit that has become a part of one in one day. And Ji-Soo was like that.

Hearing the familiar voice of her best friend from the other end, she finally realized that although she had caught off all ties with Kim Ji-hun and Dream Axis, it was going to take some time for her body and soul to forget them.

"Ji-Soo, where are you?" Baek Su-Jin inquired.

Taking her phone with her, Oh Ji-Soo headed for her closet. "I'm looking at my entire closet."

"Well, I am already leaving my apartment." She said while taking out a pair of black shoes from the shoe cabinet next to her entrance door.

Remembering something, she straightened her back. "While you are it, make sure to not pick any pants otherwise there will be a fight."

Seeing how this friend of hers had a particular uniform she couldn't go a day without putting on, Baek Su-Jin was going to make sure she doesn't pick it for this hangout of theirs.

There was something like taking a break.

As Ji-Soo's gaze swept past her work outfits which consisted of mainly pants, she scoffed. "I am not going to die working."

Making that confession, she moved over to the next wardrobe and swung it open, revealing the other kind of outfits she had.

"See you soon."

Taking some time to herself, Oh Ji-Soo went to the bathroom to freshen up before putting on the outfit she placed on her bed.

Next, she sat on her vanity mirror to put on some makeup. Touching things up a bit with the bright pink-coloured lipstick on her lips, she smacked her lips.

Taking her purse, she walked out of her room in a black mini-skirt and grey sweater paired with black thigh-high boots.

Going downstairs, she took the cab she ordered and went straight to Exclusive club, a ride that ended in 15 minutes.

As Oh Ji-Soo stepped out of the cab after paying her fare, her gaze moved around in search of a familiar figure.

"Are you looking for me, Director Oh?" A woman asked from behind her in a cute voice.

"Baek Su-Jin!" Turning around and seeing the culprit behind her, a smile instantly lit up on her face.

"Hahaha…" Chuckling to herself, Baek Su-Jin stepped out from behind her to come to stand next to her.

Moving her gaze from her head down to her feet and back to her face again, Oh Ji Soo gave her a thumbs up, a sign of approval.

"You are not my friend for nothing,"

Seeing her in a denim skirt and sleeveless white top and a pair of white sneakers, she said, complimenting her choice of outfit.

Resting her arm over her neck Baek Su-Jin smiled at her. "You look hot my friend."

She was very happy to not see Oh Ji-Soo in any of those her matching pants and suits.

Currently, she looked like a hot mature woman out on a hunt. Although Baek Su-Jin thought so, she didn't dare say it.

Leading the way into the club, she asked a bit curiously with a smile hanging at the corner of her lips.

"Why did you suddenly want to come here, did Kim Ji-hun provoke you again?"

Being aware of how her friend was treated at Dream Axis Su-Jin was sure her guess was not far from it.

"Why not? That's what is keeping him alive, but no more. I resigned today." Oh Ji-Soo revealed with her gaze ahead, seemingly unaffected by her decision.

"What?!" Baek Su-Jin screamed, stopping in her steps as her eyes widened in shock.
