The great speech

 There was silence everywhere, making Alex wonder if he has say something he shouldn’t have said.

And then without warning there was clapping rising from one corner of the building and the others followed and then before you know half of the people are clapping for Alex.

Lincoln and his men left the building angry. He didn’t understand why some of the people he bribed are joining hands in clapping for Alex.

The man gave the order and thee was silent.

"Alex, we have heard you, and you have spoken well, the council will meet again to decide the day of your coronation.” With that he dismissed everyone.

Alex stands in front of the building proud of himself, for the first time in his life, he has done something without someone trying to help him out.

"Well done” a hand came down on his shoulder. He turned to look, is Vampire.

“You exceeded my expectations, well done, till we meet again” he left Alex and Zack.

"That's one big speech you put up there,” Zack said, so proud of him.

"Yeah, I wish I could do those things I say” he wasn’t sure if he will be able to fish out those bad guys because he is beginning to see that there is a great cartel of evil men, and not just Lincoln.

These men will not hesitate to kill him and wipe away his entire family.

"Is fine, you can do it, you just need men on your side to help you.

Your father was betrayed by his men, the likes of Sandra and her father, Lincoln bought them over, and that is why he was easily killed. But you, you have to look for people who will help you and not betray you”

Alex looks at him. “What about you? Will you betray me?” Zack scoffed at him.

“I don’t know, I might betray you.”

“Then welcome on board” he shakes Zack and they laugh.

Alex went home so exhausted, that he went straight to bed but Sandra won’t let him until he eats something.

Alex doesn’t feel like eating, the blood of those people he saw keeps flashing back in his head that he wants to throw up.

“You’re sick, you need to go to the hospital,” Sandra told him.

“I’m not sick, I will be fine,” he didn’t want to tell Sandra what he saw, he only tells her everything went well and he will soon become the head of the clan which made Sandra happy.

Two days passed and Alex came down with a fever, he shakes like a leaf and was taken to the hospital.

Jack came there to see him and he told him everything.

“You want me to be your right-hand man! You’re a king now?”

“C’mon Jack, I’m not a king, they call it head of the clan, I don’t know what that is, but, I’m going to run with it, I need more power and resources to silence Lincoln and his likes forever.”

“So while you are silencing the father, you are silencing the daughter in bed?” Jack asks laughing at him.
