Drives me crazy

 “I don’t know, but I think the delivery guy came here two times and I handed the envelope to you.”

“What!” he rushed to his bedroom and search for it, he remembered Sandra giving him some envelope but he was busy on the phone with Evelyn so he put it away hoping to open it when he gets back.

He rushed back outside but Vampire is gone. “Shit. Shit” he curses and walks back inside.

“Is anything the matter? Sandra asks but he refuses to answer her.

He called Jack who came almost immediately.

“What happens? You sound worried over the phone”

“I'm done,” he said as he runs his fingers through his hair.

“Talk to me, what happened?”

“I forgot to attend the coronation meeting”

“Fuck!” Jack yells “So what’s going to happen? You know I was thinking we now have a job”

“Stop joking,” Alex said.

"I’m not joking Alex, if you become king our lives will be better, we won’t have to be looking for jobs, think about it, Alex.”

Alex looked at Jack and shakes his head. "I’ve  told you before, is not king, but the head of the clan”

“Whatever, but it sounds good to me, whatever it is, it will bring us money right?”

He looked at Jack again. “Yeah, I think so”

“Then what are you waiting for? Get the damn position and let’s go roll with it”

"Are you listening to me at all? I said I missed the coronation, and someone might have taken it” he said putting his head down.

"What! Shit!, what were you doing that you have to miss the coronation?” Jack took Alex by the collar of his shirt.

“Do you know how I’ve been praying for this? And you mess it all up for what?” he yells at him.

"You need to calm down, I will look for a way, and I know is Lincoln that will take over that position,” Alex said.

“Then we are done!” Jack yells "Come to think of it, what about his daughter? We can use her to make Lincoln step down."

“What do you mean?”

“Kidnap her, and her father will surrender”

“I’m not about to do that,” he said and turns away.

“Wow..wo.wo, don’t tell me, let me guess, oh no…way! You… you have…. Oh. Shit”

“Just stop it okay, I mean I was going to tell you,” Alex said still not looking at Jack.

“When?.. When were you going to tell me huh, when you get her pregnant?”

“Look, that girl drives me crazy, I can’t think of anything else, I’m lost, sometimes I feel like I’m  losing it”

“Of course, you’re losing it Alex” a voice interrupted them and they both turned to look.

There was Zack, Alex only rolls his eyes, he knows he will come because if  vampire came here charging at him that way, he knows Zack will come too.

“How do you intend to be responsible when you go out with people like this?” Zack asks Alex while  looking at Jack.

"Hey. I hope you’re not talking to me? Look here, I’ve been meaning to punch you a long time ago” Jack said walking towards Zack but Alex stopped him.
