Deep shit

Alex went blank the whole day, and nothing anyone say or do moved him, how is he going to stop this? When will it stop, he now realizes he made a big mistake dating Evelyn, he thought he could go in and out and be the Alex he use to know.

The commotion outside his office door made him come back to the present.

“Who is that?” Alex asked but his secretary was trying to stop Evelyn from getting in since she has no appointment with his boss.

“Is okay, let her in”

She walked in smiling at him.

“What do you want?”

“Don’t be like that Alex, we had a good time last night”

“This is my office, you don’t come here talking about last night understand?” he grind his teeth at her as he talk. But she didn’t care, she knows now that Alex won’t hurt her, he can only get angry, so she wink at him and bite her lips.

“Stop it now!” he ordered but Evelyn won’t stop.

He grabs her shaking her vigorously. “Stop this at once!”

"You're hurting me, don’t tell me you didn’t enjoy it last night, I’m here to invite you over, I don’t want to go to your house”

“Shit!” Alex hit the desk.

“Don’t try my patience, I was with you yesterday, you don’t expect me to leave my wife today!”

Evelyn, turn round to Alex and held his tie, “I’m only doing you a favor coming here, but if you want I can come to your house to invite you”

“Get away from me, and I’m not coming to you tonight, I promise my wife to be home early."

"Will you stop it, Alex, why are you throwing the word wife to my face? You are supposed to marry me before her.!”

Alex looked at the door, he was afraid someone might hear them.

“Bring down your voice, let’s talk about this later” she smile and walk out of the office but she bumped into Jack, he was coming to see Alex.

“Hey…, I hope everything is fine?”

“I don’t think so,” Alex said holding his head.

“What’s the problem? I saw Evelyn leaving your office.”

“Yeah, that’s the problem, she wants to tear us apart,"

Jack sat down and ask Alex to do the same.

“Look, Evelyn is doing all she can to separate me and Sandra, how do you expect me to live without my Sandra?”

“Hmm, so what are you going to do now?”

"I don’t know, I just hope Sandra doesn’t find out that I’m still seeing Evelyn, she warned me, she warned me that if I ever sleep outside one more night, then she will leave me, and now what? Evelyn wants me to spend the night with her”

“Men… that’s deep shit,” Jack said. He has no advice for him, he’s not used to providing advice for Alex, all he can do is help him fall into deeper shit.

They both sat there not knowing what to do, but luckily Zack came in.
