8 The Guests II

The grand hall was slowly flooded with guests dressed in several colors of clothes, but thankfully Jade stood out in her silver dress.

"Look at that shameless girl,she really wore that obscene dress and is trying her best" Madam Yoon said as she spotted Choi Taeyong speaking with Yeong.

"And why does her hand keep moving " She said annoyed at how Taeyong freely touched Yeong's body as she spoke which obviously made Yeong uncomfortable.

Jade whose mind went blank didn't even know when her legs started moving towards them and as she approached Yeong and Taeyong, she heard Taeyong say she liked what they did with the house.

"I'm sure you'd love the garden better, I spent a fortune on it. and speaking of fortune, you seem to have also spent quite a lot on your hair". Jade said as she linked her arm around Yeong's, intentionally trying to annoy Taeyong. She knew that speaking about Taeyong's hair was the only way to truly annoy her, after Ruby had pulled most of it in a fight.

Taeyong smiled awkwardly trying to hide her anger. "I've heard of how impressive the garden is, Maybe I should really check it out "

"Yeah you should, The garden is right outside that door" Jade said and immediately Taeyong left without another word.

"I thought you were uncomfortable so....." Jade explained to Yeong

"It's fine, Thank you. Jay has arrived,would you like to meet his Father with me?"

"No, I have to find Mother. she still has a lot of people for me to meet" Jade said and immediately felt bad that she had to refuse Yeong but she excused herself as she went back to meet her Mother who was speaking to Madam Choi.

"Oh Jade,you look stunning in that dress.I should really pay a visit to your designer" Madam Choi greeted Jade.

"Oh, don't bother. The designer is very expensive and she doesn't make just any kind of dress" Madam Yoon said even before Jade could react.

"Taeyong also looks different tonight, I had to look twice just to be sure that I wasn't mistaken "

"Hmm, Madam Yoon, I'll have to move on to meet other important guests ". Madam Choi said before leaving .

"Did you deal with her little slut" Madam Yoon asked Jade as she referred to Taeyong and Jade nodded.

"This is one of the reasons I wanted Ruby to be here, as she seems like the only person who can put that slut to rest.at least she put her away for two years " Madam Choi said. As she was she sighted a couple speaking sweetly to each other.

"Over there, we have the couple of the year or rather of three years" Madam Yoon said.

Jade followed her Mother's line of view and saw the couple her Mother was speaking of and she couldn't help but smile. "The Wangs. I've seen a lot of their interviews, they're a lovely couple ".

"Chinese Capitalist Wang Yuxing settled in with the family after earning a lot of wealth in China and before you know it, Yixing the son is already in a relationship with the daughter of a fried chicken shop owner. At first the family disapproved but when the boy eloped with the girl, they realized that they were about to lose their heir to a commoner so they just finally gave in to the relationship and three years ago they tied the knot, Wang Yixing made his wedding such a big deal, sort of a way to make a loud statement to his family and anybody who would disapprove. it was very dramatic indeed". Madam Yoon said

"I'm not surprised that the Wangs didn't escape your eyes, Madam Yoon " A voice said behind them and they both turned to see a man dressed in richly embroidered tuxedo, he was wearing thick makeup and continuously chewed gum as he spoke.

"Suho, I was beginning to wonder if you'd turn down my invitation " Madam Yoon said.

"well, you should know that turning invitations down is something that is left for Lee Ruby to do. And if you're not as tough as Ruby then you should never turn down an invitation, just like me. I'm just fashionably late" Suho said.

"OH MY GOD ! that dress is fabulous. Madam Yoon where have you been hiding this damsel, I mean she looks rather dazzling but not better than me " Suho exclaimed.

"I should really bring her to more events, she doesn't know a lot of people "

"Yeah I agree , she needs social grooming. I mean she has a long way to go to be like you." Suho said as he continuously gestured with his fingers,showing off his long manicured nails and they continued speaking as if Jade wasn't standing there with them.

"Well if you ever need me, here's my card. I should run along, I have other events to attend tonight " Suho handed Jade her card and left.

"I'd keep that carefully if I were you. Suho's services are very important. He doesn't look like much, I mean he's gay and doesn't have a relevant last name but, he slept his way to the top and now he's in control of what Top elites media image looks like,now that is a connection you mustn't joke with ". Madam Yoon explained to Jade.

"So You're saying "

"The issue of Ruby and Taeyong two years ago,which should have made headlines suddenly disappeared and never even made a single social media post and that is all thanks to Suho,and other things which you are aware of. I Maybe called the Owl who hears and sees a lot but never speaks of it but Suho is the hawk who hears, sees and knows everything...." Madam Yoon was suddenly interrupted by several loud murmur and a lot of people seemed to be looking at a direction or at a person.

"What is she doing here?" Madam Yoon hissed as her face turned pale from shock.
