"You..." Anna began, her voice laced with accusation, as she stared at Mo Xing with a look that could have melted steel.
Mo Xing blinked in surprise, leaning back slightly as if her glare had a physical force behind it. "Me...?" he asked, cautiously, trying to figure out what had suddenly sparked her anger.
Anna folded her arms, her eyes never leaving his face. "Don't play innocent with me, Mo Xing," she said, her tone both playful and scolding. "Liang just reminded me of something very important."
Mo Xing's brow furrowed in confusion. "And what might that be?" he asked, trying to keep his voice light despite the sudden tension.
