Cancelling the engagement
The dance floor was large. The lights had been dimmed to create the correct ambience. Everyone watched as Mo Xing, the man who was famous or repelling women as though he was ascetic, took Anna's hands with his own will and lead her to the dance floor. There was an unspoken harmony between them that permeated even without them doing anything else but hold hands as the slow music started sounding. The choice of song was a simple piano piece by the famed musician Tu Lu. This piece was coincidentally called, "Lover" The piece was delicate and it was said that Tu Lu had dedicated the tune to his wife whom he loved dearly. Mo Xing's hands were very soft yet the knuckles held Anna's hands steadily. His hold was reassuring and Anna found herself lost in it.
