Aren't We Friends?

The cold wind snapped Tang Shi Yi out of her thoughts.

She had to remind herself again that she should not be thinking too much. Once upon a time, she had taken advantage of Ye Heng while he was drunk. She could not harbor any hope that there was a chance between them.

Tang Shi Yi clenched her hand into a fist as she inhaled a few deep breaths. 

The long silence between them was starting to make her awkward. Tang Shi Yi figured that now would be a good time for her to leave.

"Shi Yi."

Ye Heng's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. Her legs froze and she was no longer able to leave or make her escape. 

Tang Shi Yi turned to Ye Heng slowly and saw him watching her. 

"How have you been recently?" Ye Heng asked. He remembered Su Ming Yuan coming to his office and telling him about the rumors regarding her company.

Ye Heng could say that Quan Lian was quite capable. He managed to suppress the rumor and save the company's reputation.
