Chapter 5

After my "talk" with Flynn, I was a little bit distracted, thinking about what he said. Everything that happened cannot be just a misunderstanding. I know what I saw, the minute Lily came back to Bradford. Flynn changed and was distant with me, and in my head that only meant one thing, he wanted to get back with Lily and I wasn't going to stick around and watch him choose her so I left. I made a decision that I knew at the time was best for the both of us.

Now my only focus is making sure that Aurora and those babies are safe. I cannot afford to get distracted so that means staying away from Flynn, which is going to be hard because wherever Brad his shadow Flynn is there.

"Elisa..."

I turn around at the call of my name and I see Yemi, just the person I wanted to see.

"Hey Yemi, how long have you been standing there?"

She smiles, "Not long, you look distracted, do you wanna talk about it?"

"Not right now but thank you"

Yemi looks a lot like Joan, same eyes, same facial structure, only difference is Yemi looks a lot nicer than Joan. That may be because she grew up without her.

"I was actually waiting for you. Look Yemi, I need your help with something or rather someone."

She looks skeptical, "What do you need my help for?"

I look at her and say, "I need you to help me kill Silas."

She kept quite for a while, no doubt trying to understand how Silas is still alive because she, just like everyone thought that Silas was dead.

She huffs, "You just said you need my help with killing Silas."

I nod, "But Elisa, how is he still alive, we all that Dorian and his family killed, every single supernatural being knows that Silas is dead and we all know that when Dorian does something he makes sure that it gets done without any mistakes. The fact that he's still alive is mind blowing but it also means that he's not working alone, someone has to be helping him."

Yemi is right, Silas being alive is impossible, there's no way he should still be alive after what Dorian did to him, as much as I don't want to admit it, Yemi is right, Silas is working with someone but the question is who?

"You might be right but who would want to help Silas, he's evil and has caused so much pain to many people, I sincerely doubt anyone would want to help him, willingly that is."

The only person that would help Silas is Amara- she's madly in love with him but how did she release him, she doesn't have any magic.

"There's only one person that can help us kill Silas for good."

"Okay, who's that person?"

"Qetsiyah." But how is that possible, according to legends Qetsiyah hates Silas. There has to be someone else helping him.

"Elisa, who is Qetsiyah and why does she hate Silas, although I'm not surprised that she hates him, considering the type of person Silas is."

"Qetsiyah was a Traveler who lived during the 1st century BC. She was beautiful and the most powerful witch within the Travelers. Silas was also part of the Travelers and she feel madly in love with him. Silas manipulated her and told her that he wanted to be with her forever, they were soon engaged to be married. She then created a powerful spell that would make them immortal. She made an immortal elixir, which they would both drink on their wedding night."

"Wait, you said she hated, so I'm guessing that he betrayed her. I mean the way you talking about them, she sounds like she really loved him but now she hates him, that could only mean one thing, Silas betrayed her."

I nodded, "You right, Silas betrayed her. He drank the elixir with another woman, who happened to be Qetsiyah's handmaiden, Amara. She of course was enraged when she found out, she desiccated Amara and faked her death. She found a way to reverse the spell, creating a cure for immortality.

The other side was created in an effort to keep Amara and Silas apart, after entombing Silas, Qetsiyah was satisfied, so she created the other side and made Amara the anchor, in that way, should Silas die a mortal death, he still wouldn't be reunited with Amara, even if the other side collapsed.

At some point Qetsiyah was killed by Travelers, which is why it's hard to believe that she's alive, but even if she's alive, there's no way in hell she would help Silas."

"Well", Yemi sighs, "This Qetsiyah person sounds very dangerous and from what you've just said, there's no way she would help Silas. But if not her then who?"

"Qetsiyah is extremely dangerous and one thing is for sure, she would never help Silas in any shape or form. That means we need to find out who exactly is helping Silas and stop them."

"I'm gonna ask my grams for help, she might know something that we don't. I'll see you later."

"Yeah, let's meet at my dad's around seven. I have a lot of digging to do as well."

She nods and we leaves. I need to call Dorian. We are going to need all the help we can get to overcome this.
