Chapter 25 Fight back

Lauren called Cielo as soon as she walked out of the restaurant, and she answered the phone.

"Can you see a red car across the street? "Come here as soon as possible!" Lauren hung up the phone after saying that.

Indeed, Cielo spotted a red car across the street. When she turned her head to gaze in the direction, the vehicle honked twice more.

After checking the surroundings, Cielo sprinted across the street and climbed into the car's passenger seat.

"How was it?" Lauren said of Cielo as she began to start the vehicle. "Did everything go according to plan?"

Lauren had just appeared in a film in which she had a supporting role. Even though it was a niche film, it had attracted a significant audience. Worried that she would be recognized, Lauren waited for Cielo outside the restaurant.

"It went without a hitch," Cielo said, a grin on her face.
