CHAPTER EIGHT

Ashton POV

It's been a month since I started courting her. I never expect this will take long. My friends have been laughing at me since I can't get the nerd say yes to me. And I wonder why? I keep following her everywhere like a lose puppy. I even buy flowers for her everyday. Is it still not enough? How long does this girl take me as her boyfriend.

Right now, we are currently in the library. I stare at her simple face. She never wear makeup, she always go natural and simple.

The bell ring and thank God spending time here in library makes me go crazy. She stand up and I quickly take a step beside her. She glance at me and smile.

"Sorry I know staying here in the library is boring. But I want to answer my assignment ahead." She said . What a good girl how I wish I have same way of thinking like her. But nah! I would never happen.

We went outside the library and head to our next class. It's physical education which I love the most. We went to each respected dressing room, since we need to change for our P.E outfit.

When I went to class, she's already there! I am aware how the girls , look at her and I think they try to bully her. What I admire about her is that she never easily get swayed. She's a nerd but a feisty one.

I sit beside her and smile.

"Hi! You ok?!" I asked her

"Yup!" She said then turn her attention to our teacher whose now discussing something. I tried to listen too.

"Last time, I group you into four groups and made you compete each other. Today I want you to give me a proper insight on what should a team should be. Since I observe the last game you all lacking of it. Give me a short essay about it. After you pass you can go out to class. We will not have any physical interaction!" Our teacher said.

Shit! Essay? I hate it. It's better we play games!

I look at Arabella and she immediately comply what the teacher said. She's writing seriously on the paper without looking up. After a couple of minutes she raise her pen and the teacher collect her paper. She tells her she's dismiss.

She look at me and said.

"You ok?" She asked

"Yup wait for me outside!" I told her then I began scrabbling some letters to write an essay. After awhile, I finished it and I went outside immediately. I look around and I saw her reading some books again.

"Hey!" As I approach her

"Let's grab some snack!" I asked her

She nodded and set aside her book and put it inside her bag. We walk towards our car. She ask me this time she will be the one to drive and we will use her car instead. I agreed and slip inside.

Her car smells like her, strawberry scent and sweet. I notice a big cute stuff toy in the back seat.

"Is that yours?" I asked her while I point the stuff toy.

"Yup my brother Emman always put that in my back seat. It's his gift to me in my birthday. He doesn't want me to leave it in our house" she said while she smile at me widely making her dimple visible.

"You have such sweet, thoughtful, caring brother huh?" I asked her

"Nah... Their too much sometimes, their overprotective! Especially my dad but I love them so much. Sometimes when they're in the house they will sneak into my room and sleep there. They always fight but when it comes to me they will understand each other" she said while she Chuckle remembering her brother.

"I would love to meet your brothers!" Fuck what did I said? This mouth of mine sometimes have his own brain.

"Oh no! That's not a great idea Ashton! My brothers are all crazy, maybe some other time" she said while she shakes her head vigorously. Ok I understand maybe her brother really are scary since she doesn't really want me to meet them.

"We're here!" She exclaimed

Then we went outside her car and enter the cafe that we used to hang out.

"Hi good afternoon, welcome to sweet home cafe. Here's your menu, call me when you want to order" a waitress said while we sit in corner side.

We took the menu and began to select our order. As usual she order chocolate ice cream fratte latti and strawberry cupcake with chocolate on top flavor. This girl really love sweet a lot.

"You really love sweets huh? Especially chocolate!" I said while I grin next to her.

"Who wouldn't? I mean chocolate is the best food in the world. I could go all day for it" she said while I shake my head and chuckled to her answer.

"So! I will buy you hundreds of chocolate of you make me you boyfriend" I smiled wickedly to her.

"Ashton are you sure about this?" She asked me

"Yup never been this sure" since Xander Birthday is coming I need to make you as my girlfriend as soon as possible. I can't lose to a bet. I added to myself.

"But I think we're not belong to each other. Just look at me and you. I still can't believe even now that your courting me what more being my boyfriend!" She said softly.

"No it's doesn't matter to me. What I want is you and me. Just because your a nerd and I am popular we're not meant to be!?" I said like I am being hurt.

"Ashton, are you really serious?" She asked me

"Yes very serious!" I answered her

"Then I want to be your girlfriend too. I don't have any of experience in dating" she said shyly

"That's ok we will take it slow. Promise you will not regret it" I said... Yes I'm going to win the bet.

"So????..... Is this a yes?" I continue

"Yes!" Then she smile.
