This Is So Stupid!

Kane didn't even make an appearance over the summer, which was the case last year too because Casey didn't have any major stressors. He lived alone in a studio apartment and spent all of his free time with Vera since he wasn't in school. There was no reason for Kane to come out. 

The next time he did was during midterms and he realized that things had gotten much more complicated because he came home from a group project meeting and Vera was on the couch watching TV. 

She got up and kissed him when she saw him. "Hey! How'd the project meeting go?"

"About the same as usual," Kane said while trying to process what this meant. He didn't realize the full extent of it until he went into the bathroom and saw a bunch of makeup and stuff in there.
