Casey quickly changed into a different shirt when he got home and hid his bandage by pulling the sleeve down as far as it would go. He didn't want Candy to see it when she finished her homework. 

She was in a very bad mood when he saw her at dinner time and that put him on edge. It was never a good sign when she went into things in a bad mood already. 

He was about to quietly slip away, hopefully going unnoticed, after they had eaten but she called out to him. "Stop right there. Somebody's forgetting he owes me a big favor. Remember what you promised yesterday, Little Candy Cane."

Casey had really hoped she forgot. "W-what favor?"

"No need to sound so nervous," Candy said with a laugh. "It really isn't much. I just want to practice something on you. I did only get about four hours of sleep since I had to wake up early to drive you to school."
