Casey really hated the pressure he was under at school and hated not being able to see Vera as much as before too. He had to constantly remind himself that he was doing this for her. For their future.

He had to prove that he was able to take care of her even though he was the way he was. And he would! He had to.

He had gotten this far. He knew how to get by in the world even dealing with his alter. They had a system. He was a semi-functional human being at this point.

If he could survive being Candy's toy, he could survive anything. He was doing pretty darn well, all things considered. Even his therapist thought so and he was a professional.
