Love Problems

'So this is Jin Yinghui. . .'

Chu Hua twisted her body to the right, hoping to get a better view of Elena.

Elena still hasn't fully recovered from walking in the heat for a long time. Her breathing was ragged and her red crop t-shirt was sticking onto her tiny waist.

Elena's eyes locked on to Chu Hua, who was busy comparing herself with Elena.

Chu Hua began observing Elena's face as she thought, 'Her eyes look unusually like mines. Her features literally look like they were sculpted to perfection, and her body is skinny but has all the right curves. Her messy hair doesn't make her look dirty but instead creates a feeling of careless beauty. What a cunning vixen. . .'

Elena also noticed the similarity in their eyes, and this just made her feel even more depressed. Of course, Lu Chenjun must have chosen to date her because she looked like his first love. She was just the shadow and replacement for Chu Hua.

"Sorry for disturbing you guys." Elena looked down and turned away. Turns out, there was something that could prevent her from eating.

Lu Chenjun immediately stood up, "Come and eat."

Elena stopped in her tracks and lied, "It's okay. I ate already."

Lu Chenjun stepped forward and grabbed Elena's hand, preventing her from walking away. Chu Hua furrowed her eyebrows as she watched Lu Chenjun pull Elena over to sit down next to him.

'Is Lu Chenjun purposefully trying to make me jealous? That Jin Yinghui is quite stupid to think that Chenjun actually likes her.'

After fixing her expression, Chu Hua stretched an arm out and introduced herself, "Hello. I am Chu Hua. Nice to meet you."

Elena stared at her outstretched hand, debating on whether she should take it or not.

'This is not the time to act petty, Jin Yinghui.' Elena thought to herself.

She put on a gracious smile and shook Chu Hua's hand, "Hello. I've heard a lot about you, Miss Chu Hua. I'm Jin Yinghui, but you can call me Elena."

Lu Chenjun raised one eyebrow when Elena said that she heard a lot about Chu Hua. From where?

Elena wasn't shy at all as she grabbed a pair of unused chopsticks, and began eating the food on the table.

Lu Chenjun watched Elena with a mere trace of a smile in his eyes. He cleared his throat before explaining, "Yinghui, Chu Hua will be staying here for some time. Are you fine with that?"

Elena almost rolled her eyes as she thought, 'No, I'm not fine with that.'

She dropped her chopsticks and smiled fakely, "Of course I'm fine."

Elena turned towards Lu Chenjun and whispered so Chu Hua couldn't hear, "You should totally open up a hotel in this house."

Without waiting for Lu Chenjun to get mad, Elena pushed her chair back and stood up, "It's getting late. I'm going to go to sleep. Nice meeting you, Chu Hua."

Elena frowned as she exited the dining room and walked into the elevator. She didn't want to climb the stairs, even if it was only 30 steps.

The elevator door clicked open on the second floor, and Elena walked into her room. As she removed her makeup, she couldn't help but think, 'Why am I still here? Now that Lu Chenjun's only love is back, it only makes sense for me to leave.'

Elena felt as if she was being shameless for living in Lu Chenjun's house. She changed into her pajamas and climbed into the bed.

She sat there, waiting for Lu Chenjun to come in. He should be done eating by now.

Time slowly passed, and Lu Chenjun was nowhere to be seen. Elena lowered her pillow and laid down.

'Am I stupid? Of course, Lu Chenjun won't be coming tonight now that Chu Hua is here. This is better, at least I can avoid unnecessary trouble and hate from Chu Hua.'

She closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep.

After eating, Lu Chenjun immediately came back upstairs and entered his office. He replied to some work emails before closing his computer and entering his room.

He changed into comfortable clothing and walked out, his feet naturally bringing him over to Elena's bedroom.

However, right before he entered the room, he stopped. He looked over to the guest room where Chu Hua was staying and frowned.

Lu Chenjun tilted his head. If he was going to break up with Elena soon, he should get used to not sleeping next to her.

Lu Chenjun stuck his head into the room and smiled when he saw Elena fast asleep, her mouth slightly opened.

He sighed as he turned around and walked back into his room. He was facing a major dilemma.

With very little love experience, Lu Chenjun couldn't tell where his heart belonged. He should talk to Grandpa Li when he has the time.

He felt like it was the right time to break up with Elena now that Chu Hua is back, but his heart would still pull him towards her.

Whenever he saw Chu Hua, he would remember their love nine years ago, and he knew that a part of his heart was still with her. Why couldn't she just be honest with him? He just needed Chu Hua to tell him herself.

Lu Chenjun walked back into his room, his heart heavy from all these love problems.

He laid down on his bed and closed his eyes. Why did Elena have to appear right before Chu Hua came back? Why can't Chu Hua just tell him why she came back?

The next morning, Elena woke up extremely early, hoping to leave the house before either Lu Chenjun or Chu Hua would wake up.

She gently walked down the stairs, afraid of making even the smallest noise. When she finally reached the first floor, she began walking naturally.

As she walked past the dining room, she stopped. She considered grabbing a snack before leaving and she walked in.

Elena heard noises coming out from the kitchen, and she wondered why Auntie Qin woke up so early.

She stepped into the kitchen, "Auntie- Chu Hua?"

Chu Hua was also surprised to see Elena up so early in the kitchen. She was planning to make breakfast for Lu Chenjun, but she hadn't cooked for too long, so she woke up extra early.

Who would have known that her luck would be so bad that she would run into Jin Yinghui?

"What are you doing in the kitchen so early in the morning?" Elena inquired.

Chu Hua thought for a moment and looked down at her apron. She couldn't let Jin Yinghui know that she was wanting to make breakfast. What if Jin Yinghui stole her idea?

Chu Hua smiled, "I'm too hungry to stay in bed, so I wanted to make myself a quick snack to eat."

Elena looked at the apple in her hands, and then looked at Chu Hua, who was dressed in an apron and seemed to be ready to cook something difficult.

"A snack. . ." Elena nodded, "Um, I have to go. I'll see you later."

Chu Hua waved before turning back to the stove. After she heard the door close, she rolled her eyes and murmured, "Stupid."
