Lu Chenjun frowned and stared at Elena unhappily, ". . . Fine."

"How did you know Director Liu was the one behind the incident at the bar?"

"I have my ways."

Elena nodded her head and didn't question Lu Chenjun any further.

"I came to check on you and Gao Ziqian, and I have a meeting later. You don't have to mind Gao Ziqian, he is just an annoying child. I'm going to get going, but I'll see you later."

Elena nodded and watched as Lu Chenjun stood up. He leaned down and picked up a black bag from the ground that Elena hadn't noticed, and placed it on the chair.

"All of the snacks you like are in this bag. There are also heating patches inside the bag for when you get cold. I'm going to miss you. Bye!"

Lu Chenjun left the bag with Elena and walked away after planting a kiss on her head.
