"What is your problem?"

Lu Chenjun leaned against the table and frowned, "What problem?"

"I said I don't like seafood, and you order seafood. I said I want iced water, and you order warm water."

Lu Chenjun smiled and asked, "Are you happy?"

--- Three hours ago

Fang Shi walked around the office with both hands behind his back and his head held high.

"Mr. Lu, are you ready for the first lesson?" Fang Shi said professionally.

"Get to the point," Lu Chenjun leaned back against his chair and glared at Fang Shi impatiently.

"So, tonight, when you go eat dinner with Miss Jin Yinghui, there are a few things you need to do."

Fang Shi pulled a chair out and sat down across from Lu Chenjun.

"First, girls love it when men are considerate and gentle. So, notice the details. If you eat steak, cut the meat for her. If you eat shrimp, take the shell off for her. Pull out the chair for her. Anyways, just notice the details."

Fang Shi crossed his legs and leaned back, "Second, this one is a little more complicated. Girls say the opposite of what they mean. For example, if they say, 'I'm fine', they are not fine."

Lu Chenjun raised one eyebrow and frowned slightly.

"If you ask her, 'Do you want something?', and they say it's okay, get it for her. But, this isn't always true. You have to observe and pay attention. Dating is kind of like a negotiation. You have to pay attention to what they like, what they want, and their limits."

Lu Chenjun crossed his arms together, he was good at negotiations.

"Understand?"

Lu Chenjun nodded and said, "If your tips work, I will add another thousand to your bonus."

Fang Shi's eyes immediately lit up and he happily nodded, "Thank you, boss! Trust me, I am great at this stuff."

--- Present

Lu Chenjun smiled and asked, "Are you happy?"

Elena frowned, "No."

The waiter walked in with the pot full of soup base and set it down in the middle of their table. A second later, all of the food they ordered also arrived.

Vegetables, beef, pork, lamb meat, seafood, mushrooms, and much more.

Elena forgot about her frustration when she saw the food, "How are we going to finish all of this?"

"We don't have to finish," Lu Chenjun said as he turned on the fire.

Elena picked up her chopsticks and began putting in the meat. She hasn't eaten hot pot in such a long time.

The Japanese hot pot, Sukiyaki, tasted different from the traditional Chinese hot pot.

Lu Chenjun helped Elena by putting in the vegetables and mushrooms. Elena had trouble waiting for the meat and the vegetables to cook.

She impatiently tapped one foot on the ground under the table and her frown deepened as the time went on.

Finally, the water boiled and the food was ready.

Elena hurriedly picked up her chopsticks and stuck it into the pot, searching for meat. Lu Chenjun watched her with a smile on his face.

"Ah!" Elena screamed, "It's so hot!"

Elena picked up her glass of water and took a sip to relieve the burning pain on her tongue. However, the water was warm, and it only made the pain worse.

Elena glared at Lu Chenjun and slammed her hand down onto the red button.

The waiter walked in and Elena said, "Can I have a glass of iced water?"

Lu Chenjun was busy picking food out of the pot, and he didn't seem to notice that Elena was staring daggers at him.

A moment later, the waiter walked back in with a glass of cold water. Elena quickly chugged the water down, but there was still a weird feeling on her tongue.

She picked up the slice of thin brisket and gently blew it before putting it into her mouth.

After she was finished with the food on her plate, she looked up to grab more. Her body lifted off the chair slightly to reach the pot and she noticed that the food on Lu Chenjun's plate was untouched.

"Why aren't you eating?"

Lu Chenjun looked at Elena's plate and asked, "Are you done?"

Elena tilted her head and said, "We just started eating."

Lu Chenjun smiled and moved his plate over to Elena, "Eat this, it's not hot anymore."

Elena looked at the plate of meat and vegetables before her and then looked up at Lu Chenjun.

She smiled awkwardly and sat back down, "Thank you."

Lu Chenjun began putting in more meat and seafood. As Elena was eating, Lu Chenjun began peeling the skin off of the shrimp.

He put all of the edible shrimp into a bowl and placed it in front of Elena.

Elena was chewing a mushroom when she saw the shrimp, and her eyes looked up at Lu Chenjun.

Lu Chenjun almost dropped his chopsticks at the sight of Elena's expression. She looked so cute!

"Don't look at me like that," Lu Chenjun said with a smile.

Elena swallowed the mushroom and lifted her head up, "I don't like seafood."

"But you said you did."

Elena widened her eyes, "I think you need to check your hearing. I said I don't like seafood."

Lu Chenjun scratched his head and whispered, "But Fang Shi said girls always say the opposite."

Elena leaned forward, "What?"

"Nothing," Lu Chenjun quickly shook his head.

"Tell me," Elena narrowed her eyes.

"It's nothing haha, let's eat."

Elena frowned and took off the suit jacket. Lu Chenjun's expression immediately darkened as he got up from his seat, "Put the jacket on."

"It's hot."

Lu Chenjun looked around and sighed, "Fine. Once we get out of this room, put it on again."

Elena rolled her eyes, "Crazy."

Elena fanned herself with her hands as she walked towards the front door of the restaurant with Lu Chenjun.

The meal ended up costing almost 7,000 yuan, and Lu Chenjun was generous enough to pay for it.

As they walked out side by side, they attracted glances from several people.

"Did you see him? That guy looks so hot."

"It doesn't matter, he has a girlfriend. Did you see the girl walking next to him? She's tall and pretty."

Elena kept her head down as she walked out, ignoring the whispers coming from the tables around them.

Lu Chenjun's face was emotionless, and his eyebrows were slightly furrowed. Fang Shi. . . you are so screwed!

They walked out into the cold air and Elena turned around to say goodbye.

"Thank you for the meal," Elena said as she took off the jacket, "Here is your jacket."

She turned around to leave, but Lu Chenjun suddenly pulled her into his embrace from behind.

"What are you doing," Elena asked in shock.

Lu Chenjun rested his chin on top of Elena's head and said with a deep voice, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
