Lucas: by the way how do you know that nerd ? You seem to have a soft spot for him... ( he said nonchalantly)

I could feel a cold chill coming from him at the end of the sentence. I shivered inwardly trying hard to find an answer to his question. I slowly lifted up my face to look at him I noticed he was giving me a bombastic side eye. I gasped looking down rubbing both my hands nervously.

Me: um ...u_um ..( she stuttered sub_consciously )

My body stiffened when he placed his cold hand on both my hands ,,, I reluctantly looked up at him he had that dreadful smirk that makes one pray to fall unconscious right away . I found myself sweating like hell .

Lucas: it's fine we have a whole day together my sweet cutie pie ....no need to stutter at all ...

I smiled nervously looking shifting my gaze to the open Window of the car . I quickly wiped beads of sweat which was already glistening on my forehead . That's when I noticed something queer about where we were going . The road seemed to be so dark than the night . I checked my watch it was nearly twelve o'clock . I shut my eyes shaking my head I think it's because I've seen lot's of drama in a day and my head can't work well anymore . My eyes seemed to have been affected by the whole incident . I opened them again everything was now clear to me . I was seriously going to hell and wasn't even aware of it . I looked back at Lucas with questioning look he had that killers smile that makes one swallow hard .

Lucas: welcome home my sweet pie ....

The car stopped abruptly . My heart was racing like a veld fire. The car door opened ....I remained rooted on my seat . I swear I've never felt so terrified in my life . My instincts were clearly sending me signals that something was wrong here and I had to be careful.

Me: why is it so dark ..( she questioned hesitantly)

Lucas: this is not heaven my dear where you expect glimmering and glittering things .....( he paused leaning closer to her and tilted his head ....he whispered in her ear ) this hell ....my home and your home soon ...

I slowly widened my eyes as he whispered those words to me . I felt shards of ice striking getting twisted on my young poor heart .... It was clear screaming would just entertain this demon instead I had to act tough .

I slowly got of the car .. Before I could realize it the car vanished in a Puff of smoke leaving me in haze and Lucas was standing besides me eyes closed inhaling the demonic aura around us . I could see he felt at home so relaxed and calm whilst my heart was bursting with uncontrolled fear . I was now becoming a sworn slave of my own dark fears created by the shadow of my own cruel twisted fate . Looking around the area it looked like hell suddenly there was a ball of fire hovering above us . I felt like I was in a fantasy movie maybe more than that . That's when I noticed we were surrounded by jade mountains... there was one mountain which stole my attention it was carved palace which glowed on it's own . Outside there were some royal guards which were dressed in ancients outfits ...they all had armours each one holding ferocious fire spears in a beeline .

I quickly grasped Lucas hand making sure he won't let go . I quickly hid behind him when a small white fox ran to him .

Lucas: she won't hurt you he is just lovely like you ....( he said trying to calm Yan Ru Yi)

Me: but it's a fox??? ( she said with a shiver giving it sharp glares as it plays around Lucas legs ....it felt so excited seeing it's Master after two months of separation,, Ruyi screamed when it scratched her legs in pretense of playing as it felt jealous of seeing it's Master with a girl )

Lucas: liya ...( he said chasing her away)

I swear I saw fire in that fox eyes . It was pure white but with pure bloody eyes. It timidly rushed away giving me an evil glare. I squirmed in pain as I felt gushes of blood trailing down my ankle .

Without any warning Lucas carried me in a bridal style .

Me: I'm fine ...I can walk myself ..

Lucas: I insist ...

Me: let me down ...

Lucas: fine ...don't ask for my help then ...( he said annoyed .)

When he let me down I screamed to see hundred of white wolves heading forwards us . I quickly jumped at Lucas ...I snaked my legs around his small waist swinging my hands on his neck eyes closed .

Lucas: you are taking advantage of me sweet pie

Me: don't call me sweet pie I hate it !!!

Lucas: then I'm going to let go off you...

Me: noooo please .....I was joking call me sweet hunny anything you want( she said almost in tears ..she hid her face on Lucas broad chest )

Lucas: ummmm seems like you couldn't wait to be called with thousand sweet names ...( he said teasing her)

As he walked I kept my eyes closed . I didn't want to dream about such scary animals at night.

Lucas: I found her father ....

I opened my eyes and noticed we were in an ancient court room filled with matured old man . Lucas let me down ....Where am I exactly?? Why does everything and everyone here looks ancient and evil . When I looked up I saw a big throne molded in gold .....There was a white haired man who was giving me an intent look . He look like he was in his mid fifties. He had green emerald eyes which sparkled from afar . He had ethereal looks like Lucas and looked even way colder than ....Abruptly Lucas knelt down before him . Even all the elders who were in the room ..

Lucas: I found her after a millennium searching for the protector of the Phoenix clan

I raised an eyebrow wondering what Greek language he was talking about the rest I didn't hear or understood what they were trying to imply as I could only see the movements of their lips and gestures ...they were arguing about something I guess. I wonder why I couldn't hear anything they were saying .

Lucas just took my hand leading me out of the court room... He looked frustrated like never before .

Me: who are they ??

Lucas: that doesn't concern you ( he snapped at her)

I automatically fell quite as he led me to a big room . Wow everything was extravagant in the room. I noticed a lavish bed which had black bed covers. My eyes shifted to the table which was filled with delicious meals .

Noo ...I won't eat anything .

Lucas: suit yourself ...I will be back ..( he said walking away)

He left the door shut . I stood still for some seconds looking at the inviting food ....hot barbecue beef... bowel of hot instant noodles . How can the dishes look so enticing .

_she said thoughtfully as she licked her lips ..there was a gurgle sound from her stomach as she tried her best to resist the look of the food_

"Noo stop staring at me "

_she said closing her eyes but the aura of the food was getting stronger by each passing second she tried to resist_

Oh no!! This is getting out of hands Ruyi focus . food isn't everything . you don't even know what this man is like . He acn even poison you .

But I can't help it . Maybe it's time for me to die ( she said with tears in her eyes ....Lucas really know the right buttons to press when it comes to food ... How did he even know it was her favourite )

_slowly she headed to the table like she was an iron being pulled by some invisible magnet.... she gawked around making sure no one was watching_

I sat down and prayed

Me : dear God as your loving kid make way for me to heaven ...this food seduced me like how the snake seduced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit..

I opened one eye I swallowed hard looking at the roasted lamb on the table .....Before I even realised it I was eating like I was home ..I stuffed my stomach till I couldn't move . I lied down on my back ...to my surprise I was all fine

Me: it seems like was scared for no reason ...( she said smiling)

Suddenly I felt like my body was on fire.....
