Chapter 42 : The New Day
After she finished laughing, Isabella immediately pulled Gabriel towards the kitchen and lowered him into a chair while she took the food she and Kiki had saved for Gabriel and put it in the microwave. Kiki sat beside Gabriel while still trying not to laugh. Gabriel, who was irritated by the sound of Kiki's stifled laughter, hit the back of Kiki's head.
"Ouch hurts Riel~ what are you doing?" Kiki groaned in pain while rubbing the back of his head which was hit by Gabriel.
"Stop laughing at me." Gabriel glanced at Kiki sharply then immediately turned his face away.
"So why can't I laugh, because it's funny how can I not laugh?" Kiki stuck his tongue out at Gabriel who was getting annoyed with him. Before they started fighting Isabella immediately intervened.
"That's enough you two." Isabella was in the middle between Gabriel and Kiki to free them both from their childish quarrel. The two immediately stopped but immediately turned their faces in the other direction making Isabella sigh but then smile because things finally started to get back to normal. As soon as the food that had been warmed by her was ready she immediately took it out of the microwave and served it on the table in front of Gabriel she also prepared a spoon and fork and gave it to the young man after that she opened the refrigerator and took two cans of coffee and a box of milk for her and her two cousins. Isabella helped Gabriel eat his food by feeding him little by little while Kiki drank his coffee can in silence while watching the two of them. They ate and drank in peace until after Gabriel had finished his meal and Isabella had also cleaned up the cutlery that the two of them had used, they went up to the second floor to their respective rooms to rest.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Michael, who has been treated for his wounds by his family doctor, is quietly looking at the garden at his house. After the doctor treated his wound Michael came out of the house and sat pensively on his garden bench, when he was pensive suddenly he felt the presence of someone sitting beside him because he knew who was beside him now he just kept quiet and did not intend to speak or glance at that person.
"You should come in, it's getting colder," Raziel whispered who sat beside Michael.
"What do you care? Go away I don't want to talk to you right now. Leave me alone, Raziel." Michael continued to stare straight ahead ignoring Raziel who was currently sighing and turned his head towards him.
"Stop being childish Michael. You know that I care about you more than anything." Raziel continued to stare at Michael who was starting to feel annoyed by his presence.
"If you care about me you should support me to get whatever I want!" Michael growled who immediately turned to Raziel. The black-haired youth looked at his brother in silence, while Michael who saw his older brother just kept silent while looking at him feeling irritated and immediately averted his gaze.
"I will defend you if the way you do it is right. But all this time you've always hurt the other party, Michael. You're like you're not who you are, you're like someone else who will do anything to get what you want." Raziel tries to explain to Michael what he's been doing all this time is wrong. But Michael didn't answer Raziel's words and still looked the other way.
"You shouldn't be in such a hurry. Since after all, Isabella will be yours, why are you doing something so shameful like this?! You still have a lot of time." Hearing Raziel's last words, Michael immediately turned to Raziel with an annoyed face and a suppressed growl.
"Can't you shut up!! Go away I don't want to hear all your ramblings! Go and leave me, alone Brother!! Go before I do something you won't like! Because I still respect you as my brother!!" Michael's harsh words made Raziel could only sigh then he immediately got up and walked away leaving Michael sitting alone on a park bench that night.
Isabella woke up in the middle of the morning because of a strange dream she had, the girl then took the cellphone which she put on her bedside table. She saw that it was five o'clock in the morning she yawned and wanted to go back to sleep again but her intention was cancelled because she remembered Yifan who was still sick and sleeping in her guest room. Isabella got up from her bed she tidied her blanket and pillow after that she walked towards the bathroom washed her face and brushed her teeth after that she came out of the bathroom and looked in the mirror while combing her hair and also tied it into one behind. After doing that Isabella came out of her room and walked toward the room used by Yifan. When she slowly opened the door she could see Yifan who was still sleeping with a very calm face she smiled for a moment when she saw him. Then she closed the door and walked towards the stairs.
"I'd better cook some food for our breakfast," Isabella whispered in her heart. When she got to the bottom she stepped into the kitchen and put on her apron. When she glanced at the pot she used to cook Yifan's porridge the lid was already open, making Isabella confused because she remembered that it was still closed last night. She also looked at the pot which was empty and had no contents. It made the pretty girl even more confused because she remembered how little she gave Yifan and there was still a lot left in the pot.
"Strange, did anyone eat it? But who?" For a long time, Isabella thought that in the end she gave up and left it alone. Later she would ask the others, finally, she decided to make more porridge for Yifan and she also prepared breakfast for her and her two cousins.
When Isabella finished cooking porridge for Yifan, she immediately prepared breakfast for the others. She decided to cook simple food, such as scrambled eggs, sweet and spicy sausage, and bacon which she cooked in butter not forgetting to bake bread for the three of them. When Isabella was busy cooking suddenly a voice startled her.
"Woahmmm~ Good morning princess. Hmm~ it smells so good it makes me even more hungry." Kiki stood leaning against the wall looking at Isabella who was cooking.
"Good morning Kiki, wow~ it's really hard for you to wake up early." Isabella glanced at Kiki and teased Kiki which made Kiki frown.
"Ehh~ Princess don't say things like that. It's as if I'm just a sleeper~" Kiki whined with a made-up sad face. But then it wasn't Isabella's voice that replied, but someone else's voice.
"That's the truth." Gabriel walked past Kiki and sat on a chair while looking at Isabella and his back to Kiki. Hearing Gabriel's words made Kiki irritated.
"I spoke to the princess. Not you face the wall!" Annoyed at Kiki who then sat on the chair opposite Gabriel. The two started fighting and Isabella who was cooking couldn't help but sigh and just listen to them. As long as the two of them didn't kill each other Isabella could rest easy and the beautiful girl continued to cook breakfast for them.
