Chapter 40 : I'm Sorry Princces (1)

In a room that was all white and smelled of strong medicine Gabriel sat in a chair and was listening to whatever the beautiful bespectacled woman sitting across from him and bordered by a table filled with medical devices and various kinds of notes had to say. medical also some x-ray photos showing broken bones.

"You're not listening to me are you Gabriel?" A beautiful middle-aged woman who wears clear and thin glasses and a plain white robe on her body stares sharply and coldly at the young man sitting in front of her. Gabriel had always been more interested in looking in another direction than seeing the beautiful middle-aged woman who had been advising and asking what the young man had done to get hurt like that.

"I hear you, Auntie," Gabriel answered with his cold, flat face, making the middle-aged woman in front of him completely run out of patience with this cold-faced youth.

"If you were listening to me, then why didn't you answer when I asked you what did you just do to hurt yourself and even break your bones?" Gabriel glanced at the middle-aged woman and then sighed.

"Didn't I also tell Auntie the truth? I told you I fell down the stairs while walking." The middle-aged woman in front of her couldn't help but raise one eyebrow and cross her arms across her chest.

"You think I'm stupid? How could I believe such a lie? I'm not easily fooled even with low-level lies like you just said!" The middle-aged woman said firmly, but Gabriel just lowered his head and smiled slightly when he heard her words.

"It's true Aunt Drusilla won't be easily fooled by low-level lies but auntie can be fooled by lower-level lies. If you're smart, there's no way you'll marry uncle, right?" Gabriel's words made the beautiful woman stand up from her seat and hit the table with both hands causing several items to fall off the table.

"Watch your words, Gabriel! You are. . ." Before Drusilla had finished speaking, the door opened and in entered a middle-aged man who was still very handsome, smiling and carrying a white camellia flower in his hand.

"Oh my, what is this? Calm down honey don't be angry like that~" Then the man immediately put the white camellia flower on the table and stood beside Drusilla hugging her waist and kissing her cheek.

"What makes you mad, honey?" he asked with a smile still etched on his face,

"This kid doesn't know how to act and talk to someone older than him." Drusilla sighed and then sat back down in her chair. The man beside her gently massaged her shoulders.

Gabriel glanced at the middle-aged man then he lowered his head and greeted him.

"Good evening Uncle Caspian." Gabriel greeted then looked back at Drusilla.

"Auntie when it's all done let me go now." Drusilla licked her forehead and glanced at Gabriel who still had a straight face.

"Okay, you can go now. Remember you have to come back for checkups every three days, I'll tell your parents. Do you understand Gabriel?" Gabriel nodded his head and then rose from his seat.

"Auntie I'm sorry for what I've said to you, I didn't mean to speak to you so rudely. Forgive me for my rudeness to you. And thanks for treating me, good night Aunt Drusilla and Uncle Caspian." Gabriel bowed slightly and after that, he walked out of Drusiila's room. After Gabriel left, Drusilla sighed tiredly and took off the clear glasses she was wearing and put them on the table while Caspian who was standing next to Drusilla while massaging his wife just giggled amused by what had just happened.

"The boy is really like his father. Right, dear?" Drusilla just nodded at what Caspian said.

After leaving Drusilla's room, Gabriel walked down the hall of the hospital where there were still several nurses and doctors working, he walked silently with a broken arm and bandages and several wounds on his face which had also been treated and plastered. Even though with such a wound on his face Gabriel's handsomeness did not diminish in the slightest there were even a few nurses who were mesmerized by his good looks but they were completely ignored by the young man who kept walking without glancing at the person who was talking about him. Gabriel felt a vibration in his pants pocket he took out his cell phone and saw a message from Kiki.

'I'm already in the lobby downstairs, I've also ordered your servant to go home and bring your car.' After reading the message from Kiki, the cold-faced young man immediately walked straight and got into the elevator and pressed the bottom button. Kiki waited for Gabriel to come downstairs he sat in a chair near the elevator beside him not long after he sent a message to Gabriel the sound of the elevator opening was heard and Gabriel with his hands wrapped in bandages and tied around his neck and some wounds on his face again made Kiki wipe his face frustrated and tired.

"Let's go," said Gabriel who glanced at Kiki for a moment and continued walking out of the hospital. Kiki just sighed and followed closely behind. They walked in silence before long they both arrived in front of Kiki's red sports car. Immediately Kiki got into the car and fastened his seat belt followed by Gabriel who sat beside him. Kiki immediately started his car and went from the hospital area to Isabella's house.

On the way, Kiki focused on driving while Gabriel leaned back in the chair looking out the window. The atmosphere in the car was very quiet because the two of them didn't speak a word until when the lights were red and Kiki stopped the car, he glanced at Gabriel.

"I don't know what to say to the princess, because your condition like this is useless because it will make her more suspicious and worried. Prepare yourselves because I will tell the truth to the princess." Hearing Kiki's words, the cold-faced youth just cleared his throat and nodded briefly without turning his head towards his cousin. After the green light returned, Kiki immediately started the car again. On the way, the two of them again did not make a sound and only the sound of the vehicle was in their hearing. The two of them were contemplating what the reaction of the beautiful girl who was currently waiting for the two of them would be. Gabriel continued to stare out the car window, but instead of enjoying the scenery outside his mind and soul were elsewhere.

"Sorry Miss Kim," Gabriel whispered with a cold face that looked so sad that also did not escape the sight of Kiki who could only take a deep breath while continuing to focus on the city streets.
