LONGING

Her love was sad.

The wait was long,

But she never blames him.

She would sit by the bay

Comes back like waves kissing the shores.

Lingering from dusk 'til dawn.

Gaze affix to a distance.

But then again, she will never blame him.

Face burnt by the raging sun.

She sings her agony away.

Tears slips out from her eyes.

Holding on with hope.

To a faith she'd meet him again.

Pondering on sweet memories,

Promise to grow old together,

Shall never be made.

Her smiles are shattered

And her eyes are constantly red.

But she would never blame him.

As he left with a beautiful goodbye.

His beloved is lonely.

People blather around

Mocked her.

Most will never understand.

Nevertheless, she's still kind to them.

And she would never blame him.

Children chants names

Pestering her day by day

But she would laugh as they laugh at her.

and would cry miserably by the night.

Desired he'd never left.

He loves her,

Like wind embracing the sun.

And yet, his loved is lonely.
