chapter 5: birthday |

I walk out of the company with my box happilly till my phone vibrates , i hurry to my car and drop the box to check my phone and it was a reminder which made me freeze in place .

'REMINDER'

'DAVID BIRTHDAY GIFT'

"oh shit "

"I totally forgot"

I start to drive to our house ,we have been living together for two years ,he was one of the people that made me feel safe after what Happened seven years ago but the only problem we have is me . I haven't ever thought of allowing him to touch me .

we have kissed only with my permission and hug but that was as far as it got .

last year he wanted me to give myself to him as his present and I tried but when he hand moved from my waist to my hip I pushed him off and ran to the bathroom and scrubbed my body so hard it became red .

David was not happy at all ,he didn't even take time to understand my fear he just left and didn't come back till a week later .

he made me feel so guilty about it that I cried myself to sleep throughout that entire week.

'maybe I should give myself to him for his birthday since I didn't get him a gift ' I consider the Idea while driving in the rain ,which I didn't even know started till memories of that night flashed into my head which made me almost crash my car .

'my sweet baby I almost hit you against a tree am so sorry '

"no way, maybe next year or another year or when we get married "

"yeah, that's when I will give in to his desire it will be a nice ,grandma always said that a man who always love to be his wife's fist "I convince myself so I won't feel bad if he demands it again and I fail to give him .

'i can already hear the wedding bells 'i say in my head and giggle .

as I continue driving I passby Sarah's minimart and step on the brakes in confusion

'did I really just pass my house? '

i don't even know how or when I actually missed my house.

I turn on my engine in order to go turn around to go home but it doesn't start and I groan in frustration .

'universe why are you doing this to me ' I groan .I glance at the minimart and an idea comes to my head

'i guess I can buy him a gift after all ' I say and rush in to buy a gift .

I come out 20minutes later with disappointment cause I only manage to buy only a big tub ice cream

'maybe we could enjoy ice cream and watch a movie '

I open my car and enter and pray silent that it will work ,I turn the ignition and fortunately it began to start .

'thank you universe this must be a blessing in disguise'

I drive back home knowing he is going to be Happy to celebrate his birthday me cause I have been coming home late cause of my ex boss .

I will be so happy to pretend to be a stay at home wife till I find a new job and am pretty sure he will love it too

considering he was upset cause of my late comings.

I see our villa and park but there is something not right.

'why are there two cars ?'

' did he bring in a guest ?'

I look for my keys but after five minutes give up, I make an effort to knock but as soon as I hit the door it opens .

I walk in and see no one in the living room I look at the dinning room to see a beautiful candle light dinner and I gasp

'did he prepare this for me ?'

'maybe he brought a musician to serenade me ' I squeal at the thought.

I feel like making myself known but before I can call out his name I hear a females moans .

I stand still hoping it was just my imagination till I hear it again even louder followed by a males groan which I could tell was David's.

'what was happening'

'no this can't be '

I go through the hallway horrified by the pieces of clothing on the floor.

'is that a woman's bra cause that definitely isn't mine '

I hear it louder and I follow the noise to our bedroom

'of all places must it be in our room'

I go closer and realise they even left agar an what i see made my body shake .
