Chapter 13 - Kurumi and Kanako

Deep inside Urashima Kanako's subconscious, Kurumi Tokisaki, the nightmare spirit and the spirit who has the power to control time, was waking up without knowing why she suddenly appeared inside an unknown place that she didn't recognize. And not only that, she didn't have any memories aside from her name and how to control her power.

"Ara, how can I be here? And why I can't remember anything except for my name and how I use my power as a spirit."

She was in confusion, but she decided to start to walk inside the corridor that appeared in Kanako subconsciousness. Because Kurumi wants to know where she is right now and why she appears in unknown places.

After walking for a while, Kurumi finally arrived in front of the door that has a plate name on it. And the plate name was Urashima Kanako.Kurumi didn't realize that she had arrived at the deepest part of Kanako's subconscious. The place where Kanako consciousness resides.

"Ara ara Urashima Kanako? Is that the name of the girl who owned the room in front of me? Are she inside this room and can tell me who I truly am and why I was inside an endless corridor that made me frustated and my body feel really tired?"

Kurumi decided that she needed to open the door and check if Kanako was inside the room or not. Because she has a lot of questions in her mind that she wants to ask Kanako.

In the room of the deepest part of her subconsciousness, Urashima Kanako was awake in an identical room that looked like her own room in the real world. She passed out because she changed into Kurumi, and right now, when she was waking up in her subconsciousness, Kurumi was immediately looking at herself in the mirror in the copy of her room. She felt relieved when she saw her own reflection in the mirror and not Kurumi Her hairstyle was a bit like Kurumi, but she didn't hide one of her eyes using the bangs like Kurumi.

"Fyuuuh, thank goodness that I didn't change into Kurumi Tokisaki. And changing into Kurumi was only a dream. I may like Kurumi and be a big fan of her, but that doesn't mean I want to be her. That's just so wrong and not right!"

And when she just felt relieved a bit, the door to her room was opened. Kanako can see that Kurumi Tokisaki was the one who opened the door. And then Kurumi opened her mouth while saying,

"Ara ara, are you, Urashima Kanako, the owner of this room? Can you tell me why I'm here with almost all my memories wiped out of my mind?"

Kanako really doesn't know how she must react when she sees the real Kurumi Tokisaki in front of her eyes. She wants to scream, but her voices are not coming out. Kanako was really confused by what she must do.

Keitarou, who saw his little sister look uncomfortable in her sleep, decided to wake her up. Because he felt worried that Kanako was having a nightmare, Keitarou didn't know how to change Kanako's appearance back to her original. But he knew that he would find the answer if he tried to search for it on the Chat Group app.

All he wanted to do right now was wake his little sister so that she could be free from the nightmare.Keitarou was shaking Kanako's body lightly while saying her name. And not long after, Kanako finally woke up from her sleep.

Kanako was about to talk with Kurumi when she heard Keitarou calling her name. She immediately hugged Keitarou tightly when she saw him.

She realized that she was finally waking up from her dreams and going back to the real world.But she can also see that her reflection in the mirror behind Keitarou was still Kurumi Tokisaki. And she was sighing deeply because, because of that, she was still in her Kurumi appearance and not changing back to her real form. And then Kanako realized that Keitarou was here, but he looked at her the usual way he does when he looks at her, and he didn't look at her like a stranger at all.

That was proof that Keitarou recognized her, even though her form was different. If she asked him, maybe he knew something about her transformation and what was causing her to become her favorite anime character.

Otohime Mutsumi felt a bit relieved that she could have her leg back when she dried it using a towel. But sadly, her appearance was still that of a buxom girl with green hair and round glasses. And unfortunately, Mutsumi cannot see anything if she doesn't wear the round glasses, so right now she is stuck with glasses on her face and an appearance that is truly different from her true form.

"I was really confused by why my appearance was changing into that of a mermaid like this, but there must be some answer for the problem that I have right now."

Mutsumi wanted an answer, so she tried to search for information about mermaid transformation on the search engine. But she didn't find anything worthy because all she found was useless myths and folklore.

So Mutsumi decided that she needed someone to talk to about her current problem. But sadly, in Tokyo, she doesn't have any friends except for Keitarou.

"I don't know if Kei-kun will believe me or not if I tell him about my transformation. But it was better if I asked him to help me than anyone else."

So Mutsumi then once again changed her appearance into that of a mermaid, and after that, she took a selfie. She then sent the selfie photo to Keitarou with the message, "Please help me, Kei-kun, I was changing into a mermaid." Mutsumi didn't know if Keitarou would trust him or not, but she can only hope right now.

*Keitarou wants to explain to Kanako how she can transform into Kurumi Tokisaki. But before he could do that, his smartphone was already ringing, and then he was forced to halt his explanation to Kanako and see the message on his smartphone.

Keitarou then opened the message, and then he saw the photo of Lady Maid from Captain Fatz with a message that said Mutsumi has changed into a mermaid and needs his help.

Keitarou didn't feel shocked anymore when he finally knew where the second template card was. He began face-palming immediately while sighing. He was really confused by why the two template cards could fall into the hands of Kanako and Mutsumi.

It's like the cards have their own minds and choose the user who can use the power of the template card fully.Keitarou then sent a message to Mutsumi saying that it would be better for Mutsumi to go to his apartment so that he could check her condition more closely.

"Ara Onii-chan, who was sending you a message, and why did you look so depressed and sighing when you saw the message? And can you explain why I have a Kurumi appearance right now?" Asked Kanako.

"Mutsumi is sending me a message, and she is having the same problem as you, so I ask her to go to our apartment," Keitarou replied with a sigh. "I will explain what has happened to you when she comes here. So Kanako, please be patient, because soon you will have the answer you want."
