Mia's Pov:

I wake up and feel something heavy on my hand.

I look to my side and see Nathan sleeping peacefully.

I carefully get my hand under his head and calmly go through his hair.

He moves, and I quickly take my hand back.

He sleepily looks at me.

When he notices that I am awake, he sits up.

"Hey beautiful, you awake?" he says, giving me the most charming smile ever.

I smile back at him, blushing.

How long have you been here? I ask.

"I came like four hours ago. By the way, Violet came too, but she saw that you were sleeping, so she went back an hour ago."

Really?

You should have woken me up. I say, sad that she came for nothing.

"I also cleaned you up a little. Violet wanted to do it, but I thought you wouldn't be comfortable with it," he says.

You.... you saw? I say in shock.

He smiles gently.

"I have seen them all before, remember?" he says.

But still... I say, not feeling confident.

"Are you mad?"

He asks, but I don't answer him.

I wasn't mad, but I was just scared.

"I have them too. I will show you them," Nathan says while putting his shirt up.

In front of me were the sexiest abs I had ever seen.

It was true that he had some scars, but his were beautiful.

He puts his shirt down.

"See, I told you I have some too. So don't be mad," Nathan says, giving me an apologetic look.

I am not mad, but still, it isn't fair. I say.

"What is not fair?" he asks, not understanding me.

Yours are so beautiful. I say with tomato cheeks.

He laughs.

"Who said yours weren't gorgeous?" he asks.

They must be ugly. I say, not looking at Nathan.

"Every one of your scars is attractive to me," he says.

I hide my smile away.

You must be tired of sleeping on the chair.

Come here. I suggest moving away a bit so he can come.

The bed was big enough for two people.

He lies next to me.

Hesitatingly, I move closer to him, and his scent hits me.

He smells soo good.

I grab his shirt taking in his scent.

"You enjoying yourself there?"

Indeed, I am. I say, but it only took me a second to realise what I had just done.

I look at him, and he smiles at me.

"Are you hungry? Do you want to eat something? Violet brought you some fruit," he says.

Later.

I am not that hungry now. I say, snuggling into his chest.

He puts his hand on me, putting me closer gently.

How did you get your scars? I ask him.

"I will tell you when you tell me yours," he says.

But that is not fair.

I asked you first. I say.

"That is how business is done," he says, smiling.

I sigh.

He comes closer and gives me a kiss.

I look at him with my eyes wide.

Can you not do that soo fast? I ask.

"Oh, so you want this?"

Not understanding what he said, he leans in and kisses me.

This time, he didn't back out.

I kiss him back.

I let him take the lead, as I didn't know what to do.

The kiss was slow and gentle.

A few seconds later, he backs away, and we gasp for air.

"Did that satisfy you, my lady?" he asks, smirking.

You know I didn't mean that. I say to Nathan.

"Oh, I don't know what you mean. You know I can't read minds," he says, playing with me.

I push him away a little.

Shut up.

I want to go to sleep. I say, acting mad.

"Okay, I will leave," he says, moving away.

No, don't leave! I say, holding onto his shirt.

I know he was just teasing me, but I really didn't want him to go.

"If you didn't like it, then I won't do it again," he says, looking at me.

I was still holding onto his shirt.

I like it.

I really did. I say, blushing.

I didn't want him to think like that.

He moves next to me again, putting me in a hug.

I nestle into his chest again, enjoying his smell.

Don't leave me, okay? I say, afraid he would leave me after I had fallen asleep.

"I was joking. Of course, I won't leave you. Where will I go without you?" says Nathan.

Won't you? I ask, looking at him.

"I won't," he says, planting a kiss on my forehead.

We snuggle closer to each other and fall asleep together.

Olivia's Pov:

It is already evening, and Evelyn and I are on our way to Mia.

Mr Mason couldn't come as he had too much work to do and I didn't want to ask Mrs Mason to go with us.

She will not have a positive impact on Mia.

She will probably question Mia why she would do such a stupid thing when she has everything when Mrs Mason doesn't even know what Mia went through.

I made her some Wild salmon with radish & orange slaw.

I made enough for us three if she didn't want to eat it alone.

I packed her some walnuts and berries too.

I heard these are good after brain surgery.

Uncle Robin, aren't you going to visit Mia?

She was pretty sad when you didn't come this morning. I say, looking at him.

"Oh really? I was planning to go with you guys for a few minutes," he says, giving me a smile.

That is good.

It will do her good to see the people she loves.

I looked at Evelyn, that was looking out the window in her own thoughts.

I know she was worried about what her father would think about her and Dr Charles.

She may have acted bravely in front of Dr Charles, but she can't lie to me.

I could tell her that her father already knew it, but that would make everything easy for them.

I want them to overcome this together.

I know they can do it.

Do you think Nathan is with Mia now? I ask Evelyn to make her stop overthinking everything.

She looks at me softly.

"Maybe. She did tell us that he would visit her later," says Evelyn.

Yeah, you are right.

What shall we do if they are together?

It will probably be awkward. I say in confusion.

"Umm, I don't know but I am sure that Nathan isn't that weird. I am sure we can all have fun for a while," says Evelyn looking at me.

I hope you are right. I say.

After a while, we had arrived at the hospital, and uncle Robin parked the car.

Before he could open the door for us, we were already out of the car.

Evelyn and I look at him, and he smiles.

"Shall we go?" he says, fixing his suit.

I guess he was somewhat nervous.

Evelyn and I nodded our heads, and we went into the hospital.

We took the lift and arrived at the floor Mia was staying on.

We walk to her room, and Evelyn opens it.

Evelyn stopped out of nowhere which made me bump into her.

What happened?

Why are you stopping? I ask her, kinda annoyed.

"Look, don't they look soo cute together?" Evelyn says out of nowhere, having her fangirling face on.

I looked at what she was looking at and saw Mia and Nathan sleeping together peacefully.

I had to admit it was a pretty sight to see.

They were made for each other.

I could see uncle Robin taking a look as well.

"What shall we do now? Shall we come back later?" asks uncle Robin.

I didn't know what to do, but I saw Nathan moving.

He slowly looked towards us.

"Oh hey, I didn't know you guys would come to visit," he says while gently sitting up.

Evelyn and I look at each other.

"Come in, please. I am sure Mia would be pleased to see you guys," he says respectfully.

"Maybe it is better if we come back later so that we don't disturb you guys," says Evelyn.

"No, don't go. She hasn't eaten anyhting in a while so please stay. Maybe she will eat something with you guys," says Nathan.

I brought her dinner.

Should we wake her up? I ask.

Nathan goes closer to Mia and says something into her ear.

Mia looks up at him and then slowly at us.

"Oh, hey guys. You should have called me before you came," she says.

Nathan goes off the bed and helps Mia to sit up.

I was happy that she found someone to stay with her through these times.

"I will just go to the rest room," says Nathan while giving a kiss on her forehead.

Mia nods shyly, and he goes.

"Girl, what is going on here? You need to tell us now," says Evelyn sitting next to her, and so do I.

"Uhum," says uncle Robin and our attention go to him.

"Oh, uncle Robin, you finally came? I thought you had forgotten about me," says Mia pretending to be sad.

"Of course, I have not forgotten about you. How could I? I just thought that you needed time with your family," he says.

"You are like a family to me too so I would have been sad if you hadn't visited me," says Mia.

"I got you some flowers to make your stay more colourful," he says, giving them to her.

"Really? Thank you," says Mia taking the gift.

I take the flowers from her to put them near the window.

"I have to go. Girls, if you want to come back, you will have to take a taxi," says uncle Robin.

"You are gonna go already?" asks Mia.

"Yeah, your father needs me. Make sure to take care of yourself. Your father just got you back, don't leave us so soon," says uncle Robin smiling gently.

Mia nods.

I could notice she was feeling sad.

Soooo, what happened between you guys? I ask her to change the subject.

"Yeah, we want the details," says Evelyn nudging her shoulder.

I could see Mia blushing.

Did you guys kiss? I ask her.

"What? How can you ask me that?" she says, becoming red.

"OH MY GOSH! You guys did. So how was it?" asks Evelyn excitedly.

"So what are you guys talking about?" says Nathan coming in.

"Huh, nothing. They were just asking me how I was doing," says Mia smiling awkwardly.

Well, I brought some food.

Do you want to have some? I ask Mia.

"Nathan, you want to join me? Olivia's food is soo good you will bite your fingers," says Mia smiling.

"Really? Let's see if it's better than my mom's," says Nathan excitedly.

Evelyn stands up, but Nathan stops her.

"Oh, please, food always better when eaten together," he says, sitting on the chair.

I put the table on the bed, and we all started chatting while eating.

It was enjoyable, and we got to know Nathan better.
