Mia's POV

My alarm goes off. 6:20 on a Monday morning. I rub my eyes and head straight to my bathroom.

After brushing my teeth and taking a nice twenty minute shower, I head back to my room and put on a grey Nike hoodie with matching pants. I style my hair half up, half down and do my edges. I spray on perfume, put lip gloss and put on my grey Nike sneakers. I look actually nice.

I tidy up my room and head downstairs to where Eli and my parents are. "Hey guys, good morning, " I kiss my mom and dad's cheek.

"Hey loser what's up," Elijah teases. I mean mug him. He puts his hands up in defense. "Sorry geez. Do you mind dropping me off at school?" I nod.

"Hey Mom I'll be out late tonight, I'll be back around 8. So Eli can walk home or catch a ride home with his friends," I tell her.

"Okay hija, be safe. Text or call me when you get to school please. Do you have your money for today's lunch and breakfast?" Mom asks.

"Yes ma, I do. Alright Eli come on let's goo," I grabbed my keys and my bag. I walked out of the house and into the driveway. I pulled out my phone getting texts from our group chat

I put my phone away and get into the car. Eli follows and gets in as well. "Can we play some music? I wanna listen to some Pop Smoke." He puts the aux cord in his phone.

"Yeah sure. Do as you please, " I pull out of the driveway and into the street. Eli puts on Candy Shop by Pop Smoke. Although I'm not a big fan of that song I mean..it's alright. But not my favorite.
