CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

"What's going on down here?" Eliot said, staring directly at me.

"Eliot dear, you're awake" Mrs. Winchester said with glee, standing instantly and rushing over to him.

Eliot's eyes were still planted on me and I him, but I was afraid of what was going on in his mind. Will he throw me out, break up with me, and hate me. I can't bear to hear him say he hates me.

Eliot's mother whispered something in his ear, which caused him to look away from me for a quick second then back. Then she turned her attention to us.

"Come along girls, let's give my son and my daughter-in-law sometime to talk" Mrs. Winchester said to Kelsey and Tisha, with a bright smile plastered across her face.

Did she just call me her 'daughter-in-law?

The girls got up, Tisha giving me one last wink, smiles and all, while Kelsey went over to her brother and hugged him and then the three ladies disappeared, leaving Eliot and I to ourselves.

Now I'm left with Eliot alone, and I'm no longer looking at him. I'm looking down at my hands but I could feel his presence close to me. Then I heard the seat that Tisha just abandoned moved and someone sat next to me.

"Hey" I heard him say awkwardly,

"Hi" I replied, still not looking up, why am I being such a wimp? Because you love him, the voice at the back of my head responded.

"So you spoke to my mom?" he asked, eyes burning into my soul.

"Yep" I responded, "are you OK?" I asked, because I'm curious to know the amount of damage I caused him last night, and where does that leave the two of us.

"I think I should be asking you that question" He said, then I felt his warm soft hands on mine, blocking the visual I had of my hands.

I slowly looked up to meet his eyes and instantly tears started clouding my eyes. His eyes were filled with guilt, pain and a lot of other emotions. My heart broke into a MILLION pieces because I knew deep down I was the reason for his pain.

"Baby don't cry" he said, wiping my tears away as they fall,

"You called me baby" I responded, now I'm really in tears, I felt like I shouldn't be off the hook this easily.

"Because that's what you are, my baby, and I hate seeing my baby cry" at this moment I can't remember how I got in his arms but I don't know if I ever want to leave them.

"I'm so sorry" I cried,

"No babe, I'm sorry" Eliot said, holding up my cheeks to look at him,

"You have nothing to apologize for, I'm at fault here, I caused you so much pain and I'm really sorry, please forgive me"

"Babe my mom disrespected you, that was unacceptable, you have your reasons for the way you reacted" he counter argued.

"But your mom had her reasons, her and Kelsey" I said without thinking. Was I supposed to tell Eliot about what his mother and sister been doing with all his relationships?

"What do you mean she had her reasons, she tried to pay you off to leave me" Eliot said, getting mad.

"I don't think I'm the one to explain that to you, but thrust me when I say she has her reasons" I said, trying to calm him down. He paused for a while, I could see the confusion in his eyes. Hopefully Mrs. Winchester tells him everything.

"Okay, so are we good?" he asked me, worry visible in his eyes.

"Yes we're okay" I said smiling at us

Yayyyy we're okay, I'm just happy. I got my man back.

"But you have to promise me that we talk about what's bothering us instead of pushing each other away" Eliot said, caressing the left side of my cheek.

"I promise" I said before kissing his hand.

We both stare into each other's eyes for a while before he leans in and kiss me. His lips feels so soft. It felt like we haven't kissed in a long time and I was longing for it. Our kiss turned into a make out session, both of us kissing each other hard and demanding. Eliot had me on his lap, his hands all over my body, claiming me. Baby I am ALL yours...

We were making out so much we both forgot that we were in the kitchen. We heard like someone's throat cleared and I instantly jumped at the same time, right out of Eliot's lap.

"Hello Amelia"

"Hi Mr. Winchester, how are you" I said, feeling extremely embarrassed.

"Hi dad" Eliot said and Mr. Winchester responded with a smile,

"Amelia darling, only a few people, other than family member get the honor of calling me by my first name and I'm sure I added you to that list last night" Mr. Winchester scolded.

I knew Mr. Winchester said I could call him by his first name Mathew but for me it doesn't feel right. I feel like I'm overstepping boundaries, you know what I mean?

I just smiled and nodded at Mr. Winchester as he walked over to the refrigerator and pulled out a bottle water.

"Staying over for dinner?" he asked after he took his first sip.

"Um, no I have assignments that need my attention, but thank you for the invite, I promise I wouldn't turn down another invite in the future." I replied, thankfully I got out of that, it's way too early for another dinner party.

Eliot was just sitting there, acting impressed for some reason.

"Hello dear, I didn't know you got home" Mrs. Winchester said, walking over to greet her husband.

"Hello my love" Mr. Winchester replied with a lot of love evident in his eyes, ugh I love true love.

Then suddenly my cousin and Kelsey appeared. Kelsey went over to her father while Tisha came over to Eliot and me.

"Looks like you too patched things up" Tisha whispered, only for Eliot and me to hear. My wide smile gave her answer, then her smile was as wide as mine.

"Tisha and I have to leave now" I said hard enough to catch everyone's attention.

"But I was hoping that you and Tisha could stay for dinner" Mrs. Winchester protested,

"And Tisha haven't even met dad yet" Kelsey interjected, "dad this is Amelia's cousin Tisha, Tisha meet my father"

While Kelsey introduce Tisha and her father, I on the other hand is looking to Eliot for help out of this situation.

"Guys, Amelia really has to go, and so do I" Eliot said, taking me by surprised.

"You're going back already, but we haven't even had time to talk" Eliot's mom protested, "It's been a while since you slept in your room, I missed having you here" Eliot's mom continued.

"Mom, I'll be back soon" Eliot said before he kissed his mom forehead.

"I'll be right back" he said to me before disappearing.

"I'll walk you guys out" Kelsey said to Tish and I.

As I turn around to leave Mrs. Winchester called out to me,

"Amelia" Mrs. Winchester came closer to me.

"Yes Mrs. Winchester" I replied,

"Call me Elena" Mrs. Winchester said, then pulled me in for a hug, "thank you so much for coming into my son's life" Elena whispered as she hug me.
