"There are people coming and going outside the ward, and the door is paned with glass. What can I possibly do?"
Brandon clicked his tongue softly.
Then he teased the woman in his arms, "Savanna, what were you thinking?"
Savanna immediately blushed a lot and struggled to get up.
Yet Brandon held her tightly, holding her restless hands with his large palms and squeezing his fingers through hers.
Not long after clasping their hands, Brandon asked, "Savanna, is there something missing from your hand?"
"Ah?" Savanna had a puzzled expression. "What is it?"
"The marriage certificate is gone, and the ring is gone, too?" Brandon was doubtful.
"It's not." Savanna remembered that she put the ring on her ring finger. She stretched out her hand only to see nothing on her finger.
"Where is my ring?"
She stood up anxiously and looked around the bed hastily.
