Chapter 4: Misunderstood

*Central Town*

"Lady Xiaosha, why did you want to come to

the town today?" Xiaosha's well known

servant Misa and also her best friend asks. "My Aunt would bring me to the town from time to time and we'll sit at the docks and feed the ducks for fun, I wanted to bring you here." Xiaosha smiles at Misa who blushes in return. "Thank you Lady Xiaosha your too kind to me, Prince Xiaoy'uer is unworthy of you." Misa states not watching her words. "Oh- My lady please forgive me I-." Xiaosha cuts off Misa and pats her head. "Do not apologize if I don't show offense Misa." As they continue to walk through the crowd of people in the town Misa impatiently asks Xiaosha a question. "Lady Xiaosha you shouldn't feel forced into this marriage if you don't want it, if Clan Master-." "Misa." Misa look down in disappointment. "Forgive me, Lady Xiaosha I should mind my words."

Xiaosha gently places her hand on Misa's face. "If my father was still alive he would also

agree with this marriage." "For the Ice Clan and the Dragon Clan has been good allies for

a long time." Misa nods saying no more. "We're here." Xiaosha points to the docks and

guide Misa by the hand towards the glistening

water full with fish. "Oh look! The ducks my Lady! Misa shouts and jumps happily like a little girl.

Suddenly the crowd of people in the town was pushed aside making a path and showed their attention to soldiers carrying a cart on horses. "That's the Dragon Clan, they barely

visit central town ,what are they doing here?" One sales villager whispers to another. The cart came to a rest at the docks and a man got off one of the horses and approached Xiaosha. "Who are you!" Misa blurts out at the solider standing beside Xiaosha as if she's guarding her.

"I am Zhang Liang personal assassin for Prince Xiao'yuer, Prince Xiaoy'uer my Master has requested that today you'll be escorted

to Feng Palace for the incoming event."

"Hmph!.. How lazy Prince Xiao'yuer is, he can't even tell my Lady himself but sends his

men instead!" Misa fulminated against Xhang Liang. "Please I'll like to ask you to mind your

words when talking about my Master."You-!" Once again Misa was cut off by Xiaosha. "That's enough Misa don't start a fuss in place like this." Xiaosha steps foward to Zhang Liang.

"Let's go." Xiaosha makes no attempted to

disagree. "But my Lady-." Misa testifies but

was again stopped by Xiaosha. "When we arrive I want you to be on your best behavior

and don't start an argument." Misa bows. "Yes, my Lady." The quicker I get through this marriage I can push it aside and tend to my other important worries. I just have to wait. The cart and horses pull off and head towards the Feng Palace. While the crowd of

people soon form again like before.

*At Feng Palace*

"What! That Xiaosha girl is staying here?! Why is she staying here?" Xiao'yuer

girlfriend nags. "Even if this girl or whatever she is come here you'll always be my first and only woman Jui." Xiao'yuer exclaims while holding her waist. "No one can take me away from you Prince Xiao'yuer if she starts

trouble-." Jui smirk devilishly and whispers "she will surely be punished by you." Jui laughs and gives Xiao'yuer a kiss and sends off.

"Hmph." Xiao'yuer huffs before drinking

a large amount of wine. "This marriage will be a pain in my ass." He walks off.

*Arriving At Feng Palace*

"What!" Misa rudely again ... 🤦🏾‍♀️ blurts out. "Why does my Lady have to spent 3 days in

a place like this?" Xiaosha once again have to

shush Misa but more directly this time. "Misa

enough with these constant blurt outs!" Xiaosha gives her a glare. "Please forgive Misa on my behalf Clan Master Wei." Xiaosha

bows. "Nonsense I take no offense after all I would love to start off on a right foot, you'll be my daughter in law soon." Clan Master Wei Young chuckles and smile. "What's wrong with staying in a place like this?" A voice suddenly spoke up from behind Xiaosha and everyone. There Xiao'yuer stood. "You must

be her..." Xioa'yuer steps closer and closer towards Xiaosha. "By this time I think we can

post pone the tour because it's dark already." Xiao'yuer glides past Xiaosha and stands beside his father. "I'll have top servants serve you from-." Xiaosha holds her hand up to cut him off. "No need I've already made an order for some of my servants to come here thank you but I don't need yours." A long pause was heard after that, but was soon broken by Clan Master Wei's nervous laugh. "Hanna show Clan Leader Xiaosha to her rightful room please." "Yes Clan Master." Xiaosha and Misa was escorted to their rooms leaving Xiao'yuer and his father.

"Hmph, now I see what type of woman you are Xiaosha.. interesting indeed...."
