Chapter 16: The Plan

During that little incident when Xioasha passed out Xioa'yuer called the royal physician. She was just dehydrated from not drinking or eating that day. The next day Xioasha was fine and recovered well. Xioa'yuer on the other hand had to be in bed for two more days.

*At Feng Palace*

"My Lady, you passed out yesterday and I wasn't by your side , please forgive me." Misa says blaming herself. Xioasha brushes her her hair aside to fully expose her face. "It wasn't your fault I asked you to handle a matter, don't blame yourself." Xiaosha and Misa continue to stroll down near the lake. "So how did the mission go?" Face palming herself Misa stops and sighs. "Right I was waiting for the man Minister Mo told me about, but he didn't show up."

*sigh* "Maybe he got stuck doing something else, I have to figure out what this amulet mean." While reading the book found in her fathers study in the book was this amulet. It was designed to show four elements. "Fire, Ice, Water, and...". Xioasha stops gracefully brushes against the scratched missing element. "What's this last one?" "Fire, I've, Water, Ice.. that's the four Clans right?" Misa says. "Then... what's the last Clan?"

*Flashback*

"The Three Clan Agreement." Xiaosha flips through the pages with speed and stops at a particular page with a red bookmark. "Declined The Deal." Xioasha eyes goes from left to right reading each word. "1649, the death of Yan Natian Clan Leader of the first firmed Fire Clan." "The agreement of ———

———————————-and under." Xioasha stops midway through the page, it was torn off. Originally the plan was created by Yan Natian although, Clan Leader Minfeng has to refuse, while the rest agreed." "Clan Leader Minfeng?" Xiaosha continues. "Therefore, lead to Yan Natian furious behavior so he executed one of the Clans to prove a point." "The massacre of the —— Clan was the worst tragedy in Halém." "What Clan are they taking about?" "This is the last page." Xiaosha says. "After that Clan Leader Minfeng ordered Yan Natian to death but suffered consequences instead...."

*Flashback End*

"All of this issue happened because the leader of the fire Clan was evil and whoever disagreed with the plan would suffer consequences."Misa exclaims furiously. "And when the first leader of our clan declined the deal he wanted war." Xiaosha tells Misa. "But what was the deal?" Xiaosha thinks to herself.

Even if the book tells me everything except what was the deal I still feel that I'm missing something.... something important.

"My Lady, a carriage has arrived up front for you." A maid directed Misa and Xioasha to the gates. And she was right. Although, Misa nor Xiaosha summoned a carriage because they want going anywhere. "I thought I had Misa told you about the banquet, did I not?" Xiaosha knew exactly who that person was.

"Xioasha." With a toothy grin appears Touba Jun. He's not smart Xioashaknows exactly that he's "interested" in her. He sure has a way to show it.

"Of course you're sister Li Changru is also my best friend but at least I forgot the time, I don't have any gowns to wear." Xiaosha lied.

"Hehe. None sense the clothes your in now is more than needed." Without another word Touba Jun grabs Xiaosha in the carriage. "Whoa!" "Hey! Get off off my Lady!" Misa follows behind her.

Oh god, right now I have no interest in a party I have to find out about this amulet. Oh well. ..
