Suspicions

"Well, that was interesting." Shelby jokes as he and Dusty walk back upstairs. He is holding a large garnished tray for dinner. 

Inga suggested that the two of them should have dinner with the king. Karl felt so stupid after his childish actions that he left right away. He did not even eat dinner with his family.

"Indeed." Dusty agrees. "Your brother is a brat." Shelby bursts out laughing. The whole tray is shaking. "Be careful." Dusty tries to take it from him but Shelby holds on to it tighter. 

"Do not worry." He says, still smiling. "I got it."

Dusty notices that her hands are on Shelby's. She immediately lets go. Her face feels hot for some reason. 

"Sorry." She utters.

"Why are you apologizing?" Shelby asks with a smirk. Her reaction did not go without notice. Dusty walks a bit faster in order to be a couple of steps ahead of him. She feels so embarrassed and shy.

"Have you told His Majesty about Saga yet?" She changes the subject.
