Conversation

"You should rest, my lady." Asger smiles. "You have worked hard today." He has been teaching Siv about magic every day for the past three days. She is disappointed that he is only teaching her about elemental magic, but she will take whatever she can get.

"Thank you, Asger." He bows to her before leaving Gary's room. Siv sighs and leans back in his desk chair.

'Can we get to Bluevale already? I just want to make sure Colby is alright.'

"Please be alright." She whispers.

Siv stares at the wooden ceiling for a while. She just listens to the sailors' voices and the creaks of the ship. She can hear Gary's muffled voice shouting orders.

'Maybe there is another storm coming.'

She reaches for the Book of Life and runs her hand over the leather cover. She hasn't tried to read it since last time. She pokes her index and smudges her blood on the book.

"Oh, it is you again." Siv hears Kirja's voice.
