4. I Like You

Preview: Ae Ri was very proud of herself but she noticed that the man was still sitting and was enjoying the show so she went to him with a great human heart to help and gave her hand to stand him up and said 

'Come stand up' (with a heroic smile) 

'I don't need your help and' 

"WHO ARE YOU" 

 4. I like you 

 "You don't mean what you say,

Just say what you mean, by the way.

I like who you are, don't have to pretend someone from afar.

It's okay when it's just unbiased words,

But don't let me down when I need you the most."

The words initially shocked Ae Ri. She was taken aback by this response, so she asked with a surprised look.

'Me! No other than a good human (with a confident voice).

Now, take my hand and stand up (forwarding her hand toward the stranger)' 

'Did I ask you for help? No, right? Then, don't help me.'

'Aren't you being rude for no reason' 

'Yes, I'm being rude. What can you do about it? You can't help me, right? So don't bother helping.'

The stranger finished the sentence, shook off Ae Ri's hand, and stood up from the ground, walking away with a deadly glare.

Ae Ri couldn't tolerate the guy's behavior even though he was undeniably handsome, so she grabbed the stranger's hand and said (with a surprised voice) 

'Wah, Jinjja, you are indeed a scumbag. Can't you even thank me?'

The man turned back, shook off Ae Ri's hand again, and started to walk towards her slowly with a glare, peering into Ae Ri's soul making her walk backwards, covering the tiniest distances between them. He pushed her against the alley wall, maintaining a distance, and pulled her waist toward him. He brushed her hair back and whispered. (with a low mischief voice)  

'Aigoo, did the baby get upset? Okay, then I would say the word because I'm here the good guy Gamsahabnida. [smirk] 

Before Ae Ri could say anything (because she was blushing, hehe), the man started to walk away from her again. Ae Ri was so angry that she could have thrown the guy into the river, but she noticed that the guy was not able to walk straight, so she petted him and murmured to herself.

'Ae Ri, no, don't,' she said, shaking her head. 'You are much better than that. Let the scumbag live his life. If you beat him now, he will just die.'

And just like that, they parted ways. Ae Ri went to the left, and the Handsome guy went to the right. Little did they know their paths would collide in a few seconds.

In a dark street with a chilly atmosphere, lights flicker on and off constantly. Unwanted noise derives from a dark house. A man slowly approaches the gate of the old shady house. As soon as he opens it, a lady pops out from inside and.....

"AAAHHHH Mwoya Igeon Mwoya? , GHOSTA GHOSTA." 

'Oppa, oppa clam down clam down it's me just your sweet Ae Ri.' (with the world's brightest smile) 

'AAHH, one minute (side eyes), aren't you the girl from the alley?'

'Wow, Oppa is so intelligent. You have a great memory, Oppa.'

'Yaha, why would you scare me like this... (goes into deep thinking mode) No, no, now I know you are here to rob my house. That's the reason you were interested in helping me.' (suspicious face)

(Ae Ri with aegyo ) 

'Ani oppa, how could I do something so bad to you?' (pouting with puppy eyes and a sad expression)

'You know what' 

(Ae Ri sparkling wink* wink*) 

'I'm more worried now. Why would you call me 'Oppa' and talk so sweetly?" (He suddenly realized something and then removed his shoe) s..eee (gulp) I'…m warning you leave or else I will ca…ll..l the police.' 

'See o..' 

The stranger brings his shoe closer

(rolling her eyes)  

'Arasseo I wouldn't call you that then ok. So, Joona paba.. 

 (With a Shocked voice)

'Ya, how do you know my name? I thought you were a thief, but you are a stalker too.'

'Sheesh..' (in a low voice) 

'What did you say.' 

Ae Ri had been patient until now, but she lost her temper when she heard his words and exploded with anger. 

'Ani, Yang Ji Joon, do you think you're Jungkook from BTS that I will stalk you? Do you seriously have an ego problem or what? I just saw your badge on your uniform, that's how I knew your name. Don't you have common sense? Did the guys beat you so much that you have lost your damn mind?'

Now Ae Ri let out a sigh of relief after the long scolding, but she forgot that she had to be the kindest goddess to him. So she glanced at Ji Joon, but he seemed...

"Bombastic Side Eye Criminal Offensive Side Eye"

'Omma was definitely speaking the truth. The world is so unpredictable nowadays. Two minutes ago, you were all like (aegyo voice) "Oppa Oppa," and now you are lashing out like a crow, "Ka Ka."

Ae Ri knew this trick is no longer valid so, the brilliant female lead of our novel, decides to take the crisis she has just caused into her own hands. At this point, she is slowly regretting her outburst, and with a lovely voice, she says,

'Ji Joona, just hear me out. I really have something to say to you.'

'Ah, you have so much to say to a stranger... wait a minute...'

Ji Joon paused in the middle, realizing something, and then spoke with a joyful voice.

(smirk)

'I understand now (hmm) you want to sleep with me right, but (tsk tsk) I'm sorry to disappoint you. I don't sleep with random people you see (feeling like the proudest man on earth) Even though I know you felt butterflies in your stomach in the alley, But I really can't sleep with you.' (still with a proud smile)

Ae Ri stood there in shock for a couple of seconds. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. At that moment, she couldn't believe her ears. It felt as if she had inhaled laughing gas, and she started laughing.

'Hahahaha you, haha, you really have some serious Narcissistic personality disorder. Why the heck would I sleep with you? Not in a million times, I would rather die as a virgin than sleep with you Hahaha.'

After enduring a string of insults, Ji Joon reached his limit. His face turned red with anger, and he swore not to tolerate it any longer. With an angry voice, he shouted.

'Do you think I'm some kind of punching bag that everyone can say whatever they want to? Listen, I don't know what you want from me, but I'm not going to take this anymore. Please leave right now. Still, I'm being nice to you.'

Just by saying Ji Joon left with rage, he pulled open the steel gate with full force, creating a loud noise in the silent environment, and began to walk with outrage.

Ae Ri saw him leaving and, without thinking, she grabbed his hand.

"Didn't I say, 'Don't touch me'?"

And he pulled his hand with full force, but Ae Ri held on even tighter.

' WTF you want from me?' you said. 'You don't like me, so stop irritating me and leave me alone.'

He tried to remove his hand, but she didn't let go. He kept walking and ended up dragging her along. But Ae Ri suddenly stopped and shouted.

'Yang Ji Joon, you have to listen to me.'

'Why should I listen to you?'

Ae Ri was getting anxious about what to reply. She said nothing as she saw him walking away and then spoke out loud as loudly as she could.

"I Like You."
