Unexpected encounter!

I never had imagined that martial arts could be so.....dramatic.

Many of the kids were pissing their pants just because their opponents were bulky in size .Some of them even withdrew their participation after they saw those ,who left the arena with wet pants.

Among all , only a dozen of kids actually gathered courage and fought some of the initial matches but the way they fought actually showed how unprepared they were. But still some of them got passing numbers and a certification right afterwards as it seemed that it wasn't necessary to win every match.

The only reason why the association made the kids fight such humongous humans, was that they wanted to check whether we would be able to handle normals monster on our own or not if any unforseen situation happens.

I haven't watched any single match of those who were sitting after the fifth arena so I was skeptical about their physical abilities and techniques until the second last match arrived .

The girl with the peculiar white mask and attractive platinum hair was called for the test. I didn't heard her name as the alloted number of participants was only got displayed on the screen and if they didn't report even after the three minutes then they had to wait another year to get this degree.

Her mask and hairs were tinkling a spot in mind that I have saw her as an anime character in my previous life but I wasn't able to recall.

Many other students who passed or even who failed the tests were still sitting around with their parents. They were curious about her or maybe about me as I had saw many glances being directed toward me since the time I came here.

'This Korean look of mine ,really stands out'. I chuckled and picked my bag to get ready as I already predicted that this match won't take much time.

I walked toward the changing room and took out the traditional dobok which my mom gifted me on my birthday. It took me only 4 minutes to return back after changing my clothes, when I heard the referee's voice.

"Contestant Momobami Ririka wins the 8 th round."

This announcement was the first thing which reached my ears after I came back to the arena.

Two things made me stunned completely.

First , the time she took to defeat those 8 monster sized human was only 3 minutes 26 seconds , which I saw on the digital display.

And the second and most important thing was..

"Momobami Ririka...that means I wasn't wrong . She is the character from that freaky gambling anime. "Finally the knot in my mind about her identity, got unraveled.

I stared at the calm and serene girl who just left the arena without showing any reaction , even many of the audience were cheering on her victory.

Her gracious walking posture and her dazzling hairs looked very attractive that made me realise , how pedophilic my thoughts had become.

'But I can't help it'. After living like a kid for this long time , my mind set had already started to adapt like a teenager and fortunately I really liked the character of Momobani sisters especially the older one who was walking right in front of me.

The screen showed my number before I started moving toward the first arena where a bear like man was standing in white Gi (Karate) uniform unlike me who was wearing black dobok.

"Hey kid don't get scared I willprobably hold back and just to be safe I will use taijutsu so prepare to counter yourself". He said with a confident smirk even he was laying down after getting beaten by that girl some seconds ago.

'Wait Taijutsu? Guy is that you?' I didn't responded and took my stance .

The refree whistled for the commencement and when I was about to finish the match with a single move , the ground rumbled.

Everyone got froze at their places.

The mana measuring metre which the refree was carrying started going crazy . And these two factors meant only one thing was going to appear.

'Dungeon'.

"Everyone , get over here. An unexpected, dungeon is going to spawn any moment so it's better to get protection from the hunters present here".

A loud voice resonated around and all people and kids left their seats calmly. Obviously they were scared but no one panicked and started moving toward the gate in an organised order. A single low class hunter was leading then toward the exit.

I was thinking to disappear from the spot and wait for the dungeon to appear as it was the best chance for me to see how a real dungeon works like and maybe it could have triggered my sharingan too.

*Zzziing*

With a bolt a dark cloud erupted near the exit and a hand groped the man who was leading the group of people .

*Splash*. Within one second ,a C rank hunter's head was smashed like tomato.

"AAAHHHHHHH" all the children started running toward the different side of the hall and the adults were no different.

I sensed their mana a while ago and except for one person whose mana I wasn't able to sense for some reason, all the other parents were possessing same amount of Magic power, which was even lower than the hunter who got his head smashed just some seconds ago .

I was standing solemnly but this was the first time I saw this type of gory scene in my both lives, however I wasn't panicking at all as I had prepared myself for this a while ago.

Two big orcs of the height of 10 feets or maybe more, suddenly appeared out of the gate with their clubs in their hands and a huge grin on their face which showcased their sharp fangs.

Their whole body was covered with tattoos of weird patterns . Cuts and bruises were countless in numbers on their bodies which proved that they were no ordinary class monsters .

"WAIT DONT PANIC. WE WILL HANDLE THIS". Two hunter which were grading the students during the test, stood infront of those two monsters . One of them chanted a barrier instantly and other was preparing an offensive spell to counter the giant. Since there wasn't any combat type hunter , the two hunters were already giving a huge opening to their opponents.

Their mana was absolutely different from any other hunter present here but the nervousness in their eyes declared their standing in this battle.

"They will die for sure". Suddenly the masked girl appeared beside me and sat on the vacant chair where the refree was sitting before.

"So you wanna help them?" I asked while watching the scene which was going to become more disgusting any time soon.

"Not unless they hurt any other student". She said something unreasonablly weird thing, and I literally didn't cared what it meant and focused on the battle to measure the fighting poweress of the ogres that whether they could help me with my sharingan' or not.

The ogres didn't let those hunters charge at them with their spells and with only brute strenght , both of them punched the ground in unison, which resulted massive cracks forming on the concrete. As soon the barrier chanter lost his control over his spell, the ogres took the opportunity and swung their clubs in upper hook in the same way, like they were programned or something.

*Thud*

The two hunters were sent flying . The ogres gave a fist bump to each other and started moving toward the crowd with their heavy steps.

"Now they might attac-" before I could finish my sentence she disappeared or to be precise she teleported from my side and the place where she reappeared was in the mid air, infront of the ogre who smashed the hunter's head before.

*Stab*. I never noticed but she was hiding a short dagger under her skirt which she skillfully stabbed on the middle of the ogre's forhead .

It's smirk didn't disappeared and I knew the reason behind it .

'Her attack power is not sufficient'. That much strength was not enough to penetrate the dagger completely .

Before the ogre could catch her, she disappeared again and reappeared around his chest where she tried to stab her dagger again but the result was again futile .

She continued on teleporting at different spots , trying to injure the two ogres, time after time but for them , the dagger barely left a scratch , so they were just swaying their hands like they were getting rid off an irritating bug.

'So this is her limit huh'. I sighed as I saw her panting behind the mask and before she could move ,one of the ogre caught her.

Ririka POV:

'I am dead'. It was the only thought which came into my mind when that disgusting creature caught me by surprise and made me realise that they doesn't only have monstrous strength but dexterity too.

I jumped to save others while my own strength was lacking.

The ogre seized my whole lower body like a wall nail and other ogre was lifting his club like a hammer to bash it on my head. He didn't smashed it instantly but was only threating me so I would cry like others.

My mother once told me that the monsters who have intelligence , likes to see us in disparity but I was not someone who would cry even while facing death.

I glanced at the adults whome I hate the most . They were standing still while shitting their pants .

'Loser as always.' I thought during the last moments of life that whatever happens , adults always remains pathetic.

I closed my eyes and was waiting to get my head smashed by the ogre, who was swinging his club in mockery until now.

*Swoosh* The sound of club swinging vanished all of a sudden and I had my head was still intact.

I opened my eyes slowly and found myself facing back of the same boy who was acting cool some time ago, standing in front of me with his one hand blocking the club which was almost half feet above us and his other hand covered with flames.

'How is it blue!?'

"Now let's heat things up, shall we". He said in a haughty tone , and threw the blue flames directly toward the ogre's . The fire covered its whole face and the sickening creature started screaming like a lunatic.

"KEWAAAAAHKK"

It dropped the club on the ground and started running while covering its face to extinguish the fire but it was all in vain.

I suddenly felt that my lower body was free since some time ago and I wasn't restrained anymore. When I turned my head to see the ogre who grabbed me before, I found only a green tattoed body lying headless on the ground .

The ogre who was shouting until now also stopped screaming before falling on the ground, in the same state ,like the previous one.

All of a sudden I felt my body weakning because the lack of mana I exhausted by using my skill so many times.

When I was about to fall back , a hand suddenly supported me by holding my waist.

The boy which looked arrogant and devilish some minutes ago was no where to be seen and only a handsome and cool prince was infront of my eyes.

"Momo chan , only jump in those fights where you are sure about winning . Cherish yourself more before you start regretting your decisions". He whispered something cool , however my whole attention was on his charismatic face which was like a great feast to my eyes .I wanted to stay like this in his strong hold for some more time ,but every good thing comes to an end .

Subaru POV:

I helped her to stand up and just after a second , a group of A rank hunters arrived at the scene.

After i killed those two monsters , the gate disappeared instantly . This was the second time when a gate allowed the monster to cross the border so I was sure this news was going to spread like wild fire.

" Are you both okay?" A hunter whose aura was terribly higher than any other hunters which came to our rescue, approached us.

"Yeah we are fine. Anyway I want to ask that, since my test was interrupted , do I have to take re-examination?" I asked what was concerning me the most as I might had to wait for another year for my re-examination.

"Um..are you the one who defeated these two?" He pointed toward the ogres.

There was no point in hiding the fact as anyone who witnessed this scene would probably tell him so I nodded in agreement.

"I would like to hear how you defeated B rank monsters on your own but for now get yourself examined by the healer over there and about your (PSD) then you have passed . Your certificate and degree would be sent to you , within a week." He said and after patting my shoulder he left to check others.

'Now this news surely will become a headache for me". I scratched my head and when I was about to leave the hall, a sudden voice pulled my attention.

"Umm..th..thank you for saving me". The masked girl said while fidgeting .

"It's okay , don't mention it".I started to move when she called me again .

"Ano...can you tell me your name ?" Her voice was a little shaky this time.

"I will tell you if we meet again in future and if that happens then let's be friends okay." I said and continued my walk .

I did something very stupid just to look cool . I knew she could check my name in the contestants list but I had to act like a fucking smart ass.

'This was such a tiring day and I didn't even got my sharingan' The sole purpose for why I didn't jumped to fight the ogres since the beginning, because I was waiting for any extreme situation to happen and I could fight them head on without magic but nothing went according to my plan and for the fuck sake I even revealed my one of the strongest spell infront of those people just to play , hero saving the beauty.

When I left the hall , a very sweet yet scary voice from behind .

" Would you like to explain yourself , ba~by?".

"FML".
