28 Entrance ~1 !

Hunter School of Academic Institution and Practical Knowledge , in short Hunter's School. The hunter school of Japan is ranked 3rd in the world list among the other six schools . There are various factors which determines the ranking of a specific hunter school. Like how many students graduates from each school and the rank they got during graduation. The raid competition between the school at the end of second year, plays a vital role in determining the ranks .

American School of Hunters was ranked 1 in the list with a World Class Hunter playing the role of a mentor for the students.

It takes two years to graduate from a hunter school , with full fledged hunters experience and a licence in hand. Starting from practical knowledge to verbal theories , one on one tournaments to team raids , a hunter school covers it all.

The student who would like to enroll here had to pass through a three staged entrance exam . Every year more than 200k applicants fills the form for the hunter school but only 200 students were selected. Yes, the entrance exam always been that much tough , which normal human couldn't even think about taking. Talent and hardwork is something you require if you wanted to enroll in the academy and the school refines those talents further to make them an exceptional hunter.

Subaru was going through the rules which were mentioned in the school forums he was checking on the internet. He was sitting infront of his monitor with Sasha peeking at the monitor time to time.

"Mom I will tell you after reading it. Now go and eat your fruits". After grunting in annoyance she left slowly and came back immediately with a bowl of fruits in hand which Subaru chopped for her before.

Subaru glanced at her and after shooking his head in amusement , he continued reading the rules and regulations.

After a whole 10 minutes of serious reading and making the apple chomping baby anxious a lot , he finally began to speak.

"I can't meet you for two years".

"I think Sakuta from my guild could teach you weaponary and about the ga-"

"Mom I am going to the school no matter what". Subaru said in a stern way. Sasha just clicked her tongue and pouted .

"Apart from that nothing mentioned here is worth of you knowing. Just some random stuff and all. " Subaru tried to ignore some serious shit but Sasha already had caught that piece of information which Subaru was trying to hide.

" Baby~ can you read that line written in bold letters." Her eyes went crescent with a dangerous smile on her face. Subaru sighed and started to read .

"It's says our lives will be in our own hands. They won't be responsible if we die there". Subaru sighed as this was to be expected from a hunter school or any school out there as the chances of gates popping was unknown by every human so how could a school take the responsibility for a student?

"Okay. It's not like I can stop you for the whole life." Sasha said in a low tone but her words made Subaru surprised.

As he saw her sad face, he couldn't helped it and went to hug her tightly in his embrace with her head snuggled on his chest.

Sasha light sobs were really painful for Subaru but he couldn't do anything beside patting her back as , not today not tomorrow, but someday he had to leave his mother in order to become stronger. After pampering her for an hour he made the dinner and at late night, filled up the form of entrance exam and submitted it as soon as possible.

{Next morning}

Since he had only three days to leave for the exam centre situated on a desserted Island where no one was allowed to trasspass without an invitation or authority, he started packing his bags and made the list of those things he would probably require.

That island was only known for the hunter's school. No digital technology was allowed from outside so , no one knew how it looked like from inside . Only the satellite pictures were posted online which didn't helped one to know what it actually hides behind the huge walls.

An applicant had to give their entrance exam in the Tokyo if they wanted to get enrolled . Since there was only one test centre in whole Japan , China and some other asian countries, Tokyo becomes really populated during these days resulting more pressure on Japanese Association to accomodate those foreign students until they didn't went back to their respective hometown or directly to the island.

Subaru wasn't much stressed about the entrance test which was being held tomorrow as he already checked about the test which would be held but still the chance of getting rejected lingered in his mind. And as what a student does in stress of exam , he did the same ; call another student to share the worries.

Theo: "Seriously you aren't calling me to tell how worried you are for the exam, are you~?"

Subaru : "Fuck off man!"

Cutting the call in annoyance, Subaru dialed the next number on his phone.

The line was connected immediately.

Ririka: "Good morning Subaru kun!" She cheerfully greeted him while panting a little because of the excercise she was doing.

Subaru:"Working out? ".

Ririka:" Some light training in dojo. Anyway, are you ready for tomorrow?"

Subaru:" Yeah probably. What about you?"

Ririka:" I just checked the site and I am happy to know that they will take physical combat tas the primary test subject".

Subaru: " Yea..h right". Subaru smiled wryly as this was the main point why he was somewhat worried.

After chatting for another half hour they said their byes.

'Physical combat. Am I really ready'. Subaru was worrying needlessly as he never had fight seriously with anyone before if the knight won't be counted . That time he fought on his adrenaline and he was using his mana in it but this test totally prohibited use of mana in combat test.

'Screw it'. After throwing off all the bothersome thoughts, he ran to the kitchen to prepare breakfast .

He still handled the kitchen department as he knew he would soon leave Sasha alone so why not give her rest until he was here.

Sasha was totally fine now but the guild master told her to rest for now and recover herself completely , giving her another 3 months paid leave . Sasha had no problem spending time with her beloved son at home, so she obliged happily.

After spending blissful time with Sasha , Subaru went into the gym and trained himself for 4 hours continuously . The day passed in a blink and next day arrived.

Waking up early in the morning, he quickly freshened up and changed his clothes. After some light excercise and going through a full body scan , he started preparing for the exam.

He packed everything which could be required for the exam, in his dimensional storage and took a shower before changing clothes . He wore a blue sweatshirt over a white pair of jeans .After telling Sasha he left the house. He took his Ducati Panigale V4, which he got gift on his 16 th birthday from Fubuki .

In his both lives , he liked to collect best vehicles and fortunately he was able to do so.

Arriving at the tall Association building nearly at 11 a.m , Subaru got off his motorcycle after parking it at the place where mostly bikes were parked. He was bound to attract attention but this time he got very less stares because of the nervousness each person was carrying.

There were a lot of people going inside the building with stress plastered on their faces. Subaru checked the time and also went inside . Taking out his form, he submitted it near the entrance and recived a badge where his UC #98992 was written. Every applicant has their own unique code they got from the reception.

As the receptionist gestured , he walked further inside the building and saw a hall with a huge screen hanging on the opposite side of the entrance. The whole hall was filled with students , chatting and discussing different things. He glanced at the surrounding and figured that there were more than 500 students in total who came to give entrance exam . There were 5 examination centres in total situated in Tokyo , which groups students randomly and inform them about their exam centre one day before the exam.

Since he knew that Ririka and Theo won't be here , he took a seat like the others and closed his eyes, not bothering with the people around. Many of the other candidates glanced at him but no one came to talk to him and continued their chatting.

Time passed and after an hour, the screen showed the list of UC and their respective room in which they had to give exam.

"PLEASE MOVE ACCORDING TO THE ROOM AND FLOOR NUMBER MENTIONED WITH YOUR UNIQUE CODE." Suddenly an announcement was made and slowly all the students started moving toward the elevators.

Subaru also stood up and cracked his neck before walking toward the stairs.

'Lets see whether I am prepared for this or not'.
