I m sleepy, good night

Damon could feel Alena slacking behind him and he knew what she was thinking, he cleared his throat and spoke, "Let's hurry, mom might be hungry". Alena hurried her steps speaking, "Yes", she almost ran to the room but was stopped by Damon just at the door. Damon pulled her inside and closed the door, he spoke, "Hey, what happened? Why do you look so scared?"

Alena was nervous and tried pulling her hands from his grasp saying, "I am not scared, i am just in a hurry because mother might be hungry". Damon could clearly see her averting eyes but didn't point it out and freed her hands, Alena took her clothes to the bathroom to change.

When she came outside, Damon was done changing so they went downstairs, Alena went to the kitchen to see the progress of the dinner. Then, she helped the maids to set the table, Damon sat on the main chair and Alena and his mother sat on each side of him. Alena served food in their plates one by one while Damon served food in her plate. His mother was shocked to see this progress and was very happy. The dinner went smoothly and Alena helped his mother with her medicines, they were sitting in the drawing room while Damon was watching news on the television while Alena peeled oranges for him, he would eat from time to time from the plate.

Soon his mother felt sleepy and so she went to her room to sleep, seeing this as an opportunity Alena slipped to their room and took a quick shower. She came out and Damon was still not there so she skipped her night routine and directly went to the sofa while tightly shutting her eyes. After sometimes, she heard the door creaking and she knew Damon has came, he walked to the cabinet took something out and went inside the bathroom. Alena slowly opened her eyes when she heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom, she got up from the sofa as she knew he would take his time. She hurried towards the dressing table and applied her night cream as fast as she could, after that she moisturized her lips and climbed on the bed and closed her eyes.

Damon came out and saw the awkwardly stiff body on the sofa and chuckled, he put on his night clothes and was drying his hair while glancing towards the sofa from time to time. After drying, he walked to the sofa and looked at the woman who was pretending to sleep, he carried her in his arms, Alena's body stiffened but still she didn't opened her eyes. Damon lay her on the bed and covered her the duvet and switched off the room lights. He also laid beside her while the lamp was still on, he noticed some cream was still raw on her face and he evened it with his fingers, Alena held her breath while Damon was busy caressing her face after mixing the cream. After sometimes when Alena couldn't take it, she opened her eyes and their eyes met, Damon spoke "Are you done pretending my dear wife?"

Alena stopped his fingers from moving further on her face and replied, "I was asleep but woke up from your touch". Alena knew he has seen through her pretense but still she didn't want to be more embarrassed in front of him and completely denied his question. Damon chuckled and spoke, "Why were you still sleeping on the sofa?" Alena was lost for words, she spoke, "I.....It has become a habit". Damon again caressed her hair and spoke, "You will sleep with me here on our bed and in my arms". Alena's face was burning, she knew she has turned red so she simply bowed her head while closing her eyes and saying, "I am sleepy, good night".
