"All of this is because of you, isn't it?" Charlotte Cooper asked.
Although she didn't know the whole situation, both Henry's parents and Wind Austin suggested that they find Victoria Johnston, but Henry Russell had been holding back.
He would rather bear the brunt of the blame himself than involve her. What was going on in his mind?
"Henry Russell, when you did this, did you ever think about how I would feel?" Charlotte looked at Henry, who was silent with pursed lips.
"You don't need to think too much about it. You just need to know that I have my reasons for doing this, and I like you." Henry Russell said in a deep voice.
"Like me? How much? Do you think this is enough, Henry? Let me tell you, I'm greedy. When I liked you, I wanted you to have me in your eyes. Now that you like me, I want to be the only one in your eyes. I hate this feeling of being deceived."
Charlotte finished speaking and turned upstairs angrily.
