Meeting Max
The next day...
Ace awakens in a strange room that looks to be decorated back in the late 70s. Coming to her senses she looks down at her injured thigh. Its bandaged up and appears to look fine. Suddenly she feels a burning sensation on the back of her neck where she was bitten. She feels a massive fresh wound and tries to get up on to her feet. Just then the door opens and a mysterious man appears. Ace goes into protection mood and jumps back onto her feet.
"Hey its ok, I'm not going to hurt you. I brought you here to heal you and to let you rest" says max
Ace holds her gaze and holds intense eye contact waiting for a explanation.
"Listen you don't have to believe me after what you been through I don't blame you. But please just take a minute and let me explain" max responds calmly as he can, not knowing how Ace is gonna react.
"Very well then, since you saved me I guess I owe you the chance to explain to me, what the hell happened yesterday and how the hell do vampires exist." Saying that she then leans back into the sofa and takes a deep breath.
"Listen I don't know how that vampire got here into this city, I've never seen his kind here before and to be quite frank im not sure what his intentions are, most likely is he a new born and was just hungry and you happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. But let me warn you his kind are not pleasant creatures and any chance they get they will hunt you down, until they have every single drop of your blood.' Max signs
"He managed to escape and unfortunately I couldn't do much about it but that good news i, I can help you I can protect you" Max pauses to wait for a response.
" you don't say, you gotta be kidding right. I mean this is all ballshit. But I really can't deal with this right now I've just gotten a new job and a flat in the city I don't have time to play games" Ace exhales in frustration.
"I understand but if you don't listen to me then your as good as dead, you only have to look at last night to realise that" says max letting out a huge shrug.
"So what am i suppse to do?" Ace calmly answers.
"For now stay low and keep yourself to yourself. Because That vampire will come back for you! From what I know about new borns once they get a taste of your blood they will come back and finish what they started.. " Max goes on to explain in great length and detail.
Ace begins to feel light headed, recieveing all the information she has today she wouldn't be surprised if fairies existed to. Knowing what she now knows is vital she must keep this information to herself if anyone finds out she will be Eliminated by the court of conjur.
Which is the 4 main original vampires. Max wants to help Ace and protect her but he knows deep down she would never be able to accept him or even like him if she knew about his past or even knew what he was.
