Chapter 46: Love, Blood, and Fangs
Marcus Cutler POV:
The place my team and I were dropped off was only two blocks away from the Hunting Ground. The building wasn’t anything impressive, just a two-story brick structure. But it did have basement access on its outside, and that’s where we were directed.
The basement door was stuck, and it took me, Kyle, and two other members of our team to force it open.
That probably meant Julia was the only one who was supposed to use this door.
The basement was empty, and the only thing of note was a large hole in the wall across from the door. That was our way in.
I turned to face the members of my team. “Right, this is where is starts getting complicated,” I told them.
“It’s only getting complicated now?” Kyle asked sarcastically.
