Chapter 21

 I CAN BE A DEVIL

A WEEK AGO~ HOSPITAL 

Develene opened her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar room. The last thing she remembered was getting into an accident.

"My baby" Hannah Taylor said as she quickly came to her bedside.

"Mom" Develene called.

"I thought you left everything and everyone behind, I should have known that you wouldn't be capable of doing such a thing. I should have known that something like an accident had prevented you from coming back" Hannah said with tears in her eyes.

On hearing those words Develene mind drifted off to the months ago and the things that happened.

"Help me sir up Mom" she said and immediately her mom complied.

"What happened mom?" Develene asked.

"A lot has happened since you...." Her mom stopped when a student doctor walked in.

"You are awake. I would do a quick check up and...."

"Can't you see that am having a conversation with my mom?" Develene asked rudely.
