Office door pushed to the left by a young man wearing a lovely suit and dressing cooperate. Alex entered into his office and walking straight to the desk. The young man closed the door and walking in with him. The man brought Alex to his office after introduced him to all the staffs in that department only.

His office was big, beautiful and well decorated. There were sofas with a center table at a corner of the office and it was far from the main place.

The place served as a resting place, and where to realize and have fun. There was a big television on the wall there, and a small office fridge.

Alex put his bag down on the table, and sat down on the chair. He opened the bag, and brought out his own laptop. He opened the laptop and started pressing the keyboard.

“Sir, yes sir” the young man said with gentle voice, and standing at the front of the desk. The young man was the one heading the department and knows as ‘Acting HOD’ His work was personal assistant to the HOD. So now that Alex is here, he is now his PA.

“I bring this flash drive for you Sir, and are you going to insert it into your laptop or I should help you to insert it inside the office own” The young man and as he was raising the flash drive up. The name of the young man was JACK.

“The flash drive contained everything that you need to know about this company, and importantly how to get access to all the websites and platforms of this company” Alex didn’t say anything just busy pressing the laptop.

“To get access to any of the company’s websites, you need passwords and everything is on this flash—“

“Are you talking about all these” Jack was talking while Alex said with low voice, and turned his laptop to him. Jack bent down a little, and scrolling through the laptop.

“HOW DID YOU GET ACCESS TO ALL THESE, SIR” Jack said loudly and he was so shocked.

“Hmm” Alex just did with smiles on his face, and turned his laptop back to himself. Jack looked at the flash drive in his hand, and he was still surprising.

“Its baby engineers that need all that, not me” Alex said and continued with what he was doing.

“Wow! I really have a lot to learn from you Sir” Jack said with loud voice, and Alex giggled.

“No! Welcome once again Sir” he said with low voice and it was really amazing to him. Alex was just smiling as he was working on the laptop, and it was Jack’s reactions that were funny to him.

Maya was inside her bedroom, sitting on the sofa facing the entrance door and busy drinking wine. As she left downstairs with anger, it was her room that she came to. She was franking her face and looking with anger, even she just threw her phone on the bed and that wasn’t her concern for now.

Sound of the door opened gently and Vivian entered into the room. She walked in gently and sat down on the bed facing Maya.

“Why did you walk away like that? Don’t you know it’s a sign of disrespect on our father and at the front of his wife” Vivian said with cool voice. Maya just looked at her, and took her eyes away from her.

“Father has tried, and there is nothing there if he remarried---“

“None is saying that he shouldn’t remarried but not to that girl!” Maya said with loud and as her sister was talking.

“But nothing is wrong with Prey. She is a cool and nice lady” Maya giggled as Vivian was talking.

“Nice and cool, just only today you met her that you have known all that right” Maya said. She carried the cup and drank the wine once.

“But you too just met her today, so why have you concluded that she is a gold-digger or have you met her somewhere else before?” Vivian asked with cool voice.

“No, I haven’t!” Maya replied with loud voice and put the cup in her hand down on the stool.

“But I know what I am saying. I just don’t know why it’s difficult for you guys to listen to me. The girl that looks like that, look like a hookup girl” Maya said and hissed.

“Nothing is wrong with her come-on, and don’t judge a book by its cover, Maya” Vivian said and trying to talk to her sister.

“You want father to marry a woman of his age, but what if she is not a good person? Think about it, he can marry a middle age woman and she may not be the best for him”

“What is all these talks about again. You have welcomed her right, and you have accepted her as your stepmother. So, no need for all these talks again” Maya said in harsh tone.

“But, I will tell you in future that I warned you and father. I will protect myself and be careful” she crossed her leg, carried the wine and pouring it inside the cup.

“She is not a bad person, try and give her a chance. You will see that you will like her” Vivian said with gentle voice.

“Listen to me, and you will see. Please, try to like her and close to her---“

“Check the time, are you not going to your husband’s house again” Vivian was talking when Maya said. All what Vivian was saying was irritating her.

“Sorry, it’s your father’s house, you can sleep over” she took the remote on the stool, on the television and loud it.

“I will call you, and take care of yourself” Vivian said as she got up. She adjusted her dress and facing Maya.

“Don’t cause any trouble, Goodbye” Vivian said and leaving. She left the room and closed the door. Maya off the television and dropped the remote on the stool.

“She always trusts blindly!” Maya said with loud voice, and it was really paining her that nobody listened to her or tried to understand her.
