Chapter Eight

In the forbidden room

Amber is seen on her knees with her bare back only wearing a black bra top and white mini skirt. Fresh red marks are seen on her back. She was bleeding from her back. Alisson is standing beside her mother who is seated on the throne.

The big wooden door opens and Nikki walks into the room. She goes down on one knee and bows before her mother.

"Greetings my queen", she greeted.

"Raise your head", her mother said as Nikki raised her head and faces Amber.

"Amber?" Nikki called out as she rushes towards Amber.

"I'm really sorry my princess", Amber said as Nikki hugs her. Tears run down her eyes as Amber embraces her too.

Nikki turns towards her mother and shot her with a death glare. "Why are you doing this to Amber?"

"Have you forgotten your place you incompetent brat?" her mother retorted.

"Don't make me repeat myself mother", Nikki warned as the red aura starts to come out of her body.

"How dare you, Nikki?" her mother snapped.

"Nikki please don't get into any unnecessary trouble because of me", Amber pleaded.

"I'll have to teach you a lesson today", her mother declared as she rises from her throne.

 Before her mother could take one step forward, she falls to the ground on her knees. Alisson suddenly starts going up in the air and then she is thrown to the wall making a massive impact with it. She falls to the ground and then she gets stuck to the wall by some massive pressure on her.

"I'll be the one doing the teaching today", Nikki said as her eyes turned blood red. "Now I am going to ask you some questions and you are going to give an answer to each one of them okay. One wrong answer or any funny tricks, I will snap both your necks", Nikki threatened.

"Nikki what are you doing?" her mother asked unable to move due to Nikki's immobilising pressure.

"Why are you torturing Amber?"

"Alisson told me that you had an outburst during the party today and that you attacked the crowned prince of hell", her mother replied.

"What do you mean by I attacked the crowned prince of hell?" Nikki asked.

"Do not you remember attacking the royals of the upper chamber and then prince Lucian came in and stopped you. You attacked him but luckily for you it didn't hurt him", Alisson interjected.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Why would I attack the crowned prince? It's the same thing as saying I'm asking for death. Why would I do something so stupid?"

"It was because you wanted to protect the human that you came with. He tried protecting you and ended up making the upper demons upset. They were going to kill him but then you interfered and that's when you almost killed everyone in the hall", Alisson explained.

"You went to princess Laurel's birthday party with a human?" her mother asked.

"What did you expect me to do when my fiancé is in love with Alisson? She somehow convinced him to take her and to leave his fiancée without a companion to such an important event", Nikki said as Alisson looks away.

"Is that true Alisson?" their mother asked.

"I'm sorry mother", Alisson apologised.

"The next time you lay a finger on Amber, I won't spare you", Nikki said as she puts her hand on Amber's back. The marks on Amber's back disappear and her back looks good as new.

Nikki's eyes go back to their normal colour and the red aura around her disappears. The immobilising pressure on Alisson and her mother also disappears as both get to their feet.

"Let's go Amber", Nikki said as she rises to her feet but immediately falls back to the ground and becomes unconscious.

"Nikki!!!" Amber called out as she rushes over to Nikki. She places Nikki's head on her laps. "Hey, don't do this to me. Please wake up. Nikki wake up", Amber said as their mother and Alisson rush towards Nikki.

"What happened to her?" her mother asked.

"I have no idea", Amber responded.

"Alisson tell Jack to get Ryder here right now!" her mother commanded as Alisson runs out of the room.

"Nikki please stay with me", Amber said.
