Memory

Elisia ran toward the table and took a glass of water. She then gave it to Thane who was sweating all over. She went to the closet to get some towels and a change of clothes.

"Are you okay?" She asked, worried.

Thane nodded. "I'm fine because you're here."

She pouted and wanted to cry again. "Don't tease me."

"I'm not. I'm telling the truth. Before, I had no one. I'm lucky you're here with me now." He said.

She didn't say a word because she was still worried about him. She dried him up and helped him undress quietly.

Thane felt that she was scared. Not from the curse, but because she didn't want to see him hurt.

He watched her clean up the bed and noticed she was trembling. He held her hands to comfort her, but she started crying.

"Hey, I'm not going anywhere." He whispered before pulling her into his arms.

"I'm scared. I don't want to lose you." She sobbed.
