Midodareni

The Javanese Indigenous Peoples in Indonesia, have a series of wedding processions consisting of several stages. One such stage is the midodareni procession, which is done before the wedding arrives. Because coincidence of Zalina and Arjuna family has Java's blood, then undergoing midodareni processions is the obliged thing.

Midodareni comes from the word widodari or the realm that comes down from the sky. This procession was done after the bride of the Fast ceremony, which is the cleaning stage for both bridesmaid prior to the sacred day of the wedding.

The midodarani tradition comes from legend of Jaka Tarub and Nawalwulan. It was said that the story, the Bidadari came to earth to vision of the bride-speech of the bride-serving in the room before the wedding night.
