A week after the deadly tornado hit Horace, authorities are opening up the town to residents and volunteers to help with the cleanup. There are two checkpoints going into the town, and there is a curfew in place. Chief of Police, Dan Jordan says, "We understand everyone is anxious to get back to their homes and get busy putting their lives back together. We ask that you be cautious and look out for yourself. There are still no utilities and emergency services are at lower capacity. We've already suffered so much loss. Help us keep this process as safe as possible."
"Holy mother of all that's holy!" Shelby exclaimed as she looked around the property that once held her sister's home. The place was a wreck, and there was no house left. There wasn't really much of anything left. She could barely make out the foundation amidst all the rubble.
