" it's ok. It's just a dream. and you know that it wasn't your fault " Aiden consoled

" But why does it feel like it is. why does it hurt this much, why do I feel so guilty " she cried out loud

" I know how you feel " he whispered as he used his tomb to wipe her tears. pulling her in for a hug. Riley cried into his chest. she was hurting so much. he robbed her back wanting her to cry her heart out in his arms. he wants her to know that she was safe in his arms.

" I shouldn't have raised my voice at them. I wish I could apologize, I wish I could say that am sorry, I know you love me and you just want me to have a normal life. But I can't, it's too late. they are gone, so quickly. " she cried.

Aiden stayed quietly, listening to her cry. He didn't like it when she cried. it made him confused. I never knew what to do when she cried " you don't need to say sorry. they will understand and I am sure they won't be happy with you crying. they will probably be frowning from where ever they are." he whispered into her ear. " they will be like 'this silly girl you, are such a cry baby ' " he said

" Ha " she gave a weak laugh " sounds like what they will say "

" Really?. didn't know I could play your parents "

" Ha," another weak laugh escaped her lips. Riley slowly wrapped her arms around him. " can you " she stopped

" Can I what?"

" sleep here with me? " the question left Aiden speechless " Aiden?" she called after a while of silence

" sure " he agreed. they both adjusted themselves lf on the bed. Riley trapped herself in Aiden's arms. she blushed hard when she realized that he was still shirtless but wearing trousers. Her hand rested on his hard chest. he was so warm. she felt so safe.

" you smell like flowers " she whispered " why "

" I don't know. you are the first to tell me this" he smiled

" I like it "These were her last words before driving off to sleep.

This was the first time Aiden slept with someone. even the girls he had sex with, he never let them spend the night. he enjoyed sleeping alone. but now was different. he felt so comfortable with Riley in his arms.

Riley woke up the next day to find the room empty, Aiden was not in bed. she look at the time, it was 9:15 . she got up and made her way to the bathroom. as she entered she noticed the two toothbrushes. Aiden must have put them because they were not there last night. " he is good at leaving the house while being asleep " she said to herself. suddenly what happened last night played in her head and she smiled. "too bad. if only we were dating" she spoke sadly.

Riley took a long hot shower, dried herself and wore the clothes from yesterday. Riley came and was so glad that she dressed in the bathroom because Aiden was sitting on the bed waiting patiently for her. " hey. I thought you went out?"

" I went out to make a call," he said

" It just occurred to me. didn't you have a phone?" she asked curiously

" I got rid of it," he said quickly " they could track us with it " he explained

" oh " nodding in understanding

" want to order food or go out to eat?"

" well. It's been a while since I came to London so let's go out " she replied with a little excitement making Aiden smile.

" you are so cute," he said. instantly Riley began to blush.

" Stop it " she frowned " don't call me cute again, it's annoying"

" then why did you blush?" he raised an eyebrow " and you never had a problem with it "

" I do now " she had a serious tone

" o...key " Aiden was confused but chose not to say any more " let's go then " he got off the bed " your wig " he reminded

" oh " immediately Riley went to grab her wig and put it on "let's go " with that they left the hotel

they had breakfast at a small restaurant then Riley decided to have a little tour around. Aiden agrees to take her around after all they may not get the chance to do so when they get to the organisation. who knows what they will do with her.

Aiden took her to the London eye and they entered the wheel. Riley was amazed by the view. it was breathtaking. whenever Riley's eyes landed on Aiden she frowned and Aiden noticed this. he got worried. what has he done to offend? her later on she was able to make him take her to the cinema. " it been a while since I watched a movie. and I am not happy about it " she grumbled

" find" he agreed reluctantly. it was a two hours movie. after that they stopped by at some place and finally Aiden took her to

St James's park. it was already evening.

" The day went by quickly," Riley said calmly as they took a walk in the park

" Yeah " his voice was calm. the park was wonderful and the smell of flowers made Riley think of Aiden more often. they stood by the lake to watch the sunset. with the sunset that reflected in the lake and Aiden standing next to her. everything felt perfect for a moment. Suddenly, she felt Aiden's warm hands against hers and she flinches.

" Are you alright? " he asked as their gaze met. at that moment she remembered when she first saw does amazing dark blue eyes and her heartbeat increased

" Yeah I'm fine " she smiled pulling her hand away from his. Riley reached for his hood and brought it down. she expected him to hit her hand away like the first time but he didn't, he let her bring it down. and he smiled. his smile was perfect as always " why are you smiling?"

" I am not allowed to smile " he gave a confused look

" Stop smiling at me it's annoying," she said then went back to watching the sunset. Aiden didn't understand what was up with her. she's been acting strange.

" What is the matter, Riley " he finally asked

" Nothing" she replied still focused on the sunset

" No. it's something Riley. what is it " Riley didn't reply " Riley?" he called

" Why " she hesitates. Riley turned to look at him " Why did you kiss me Aiden "

" Pardon?" he didn't expect her to ask that question

" Why did you kiss " she had a serious tone. Riley was scared of his answer

" well. I said that it was your punishment for your wrong language" he did it. what she was scared of hearing. I guess a small side of her wanted it to be that he liked her and only used that as an excuse to kiss her.

" oh. that was it?" the words managed to come out

" pardon"

" so it was a punishment?"

" Riley, what is wrong?" he was confused

" I will tell you what is wrong. You played with my feelings ok. you had no idea how confused I was by your action. you kissed me for fun and pretend that it was nothing. you just went to sleep. " her eyes were filled with liquid as she spoke " I am trying to ignore it but just seeing you is frustrating. Everything about you is driving me crazy and when you say things like you are cute or you are pretty or whatever it drives me to knot ok " she yelled. " I know you are only with me because of a mission. stop playing with my emotions if you know you have no interest in me. Please" the tears finally rolled out.

Aiden stood in front of her in complete shock. he always knew Riley found him attractive. but he had no idea that she liked him that much this filled him with joy for a moment then he remembered that he will only end up hurting her. " that is an odd way to express your feelings for me " he smiled

"you are teasing me? " Riley got angry " well, I don't blame you. I am the witch, a complete mess "

" No, you are not " he frowned at her words " Riley..." she raised her hand cutting him off

" don't try to motivate me ok " Riley quickly wiped her tears " let's just go " that was her last words before walking away

On their way back to the hotel none of them said a word to each other. Riley felt so embarrassed. for the first time in her life she confessed her feelings to a guy and he made fun of it.

Aiden didn't like how quiet she was. she was so full of life earlier today and no she was sad and angry. and it was because of him. Aiden would punish anyone who hurt Riley. that was why she did get bullied at school. everyone just avoided her. and now? now he is the one that hurt her and he can't bear it
