Chapter 13

At Night

Riley took a long hot shower after eating. her body felt so relaxed as the water hit her skin. it has been a day and a half and she hasn't had her bath so she made sure she enjoyed the bath.

she came out of the bath wearing a robe. standing in front of the bathroom mirror, she dried her hair with the towel. feels so good to be clean.

through the mirror, she could see her dirty clothes on the floor. there was no way she was wearing it again. she needs fresh clothes and underwear. " Fuck, I need underwear " she frowned. how was she going to tell Aiden that

suddenly there was a knock on the door and before she could reply the door opened, taking her by surprise. " fuck "

" Language" was Aiden, he came in with clothes. she frowned at his response

" Stop doing that, it's annoying and for fucking sake, you didn't even let me reply. what if I was naked " she scolded

" it won't be the first " His words shocked her. she stood speechlessly in front of him

" you. you pervert " she yelled, " how the fuck...."

" Remember the night you ran away from home that you almost got raped " he interrupted reminding her of an unforgettable event

" Yes?" wondering why he was changing the topic

" you were knocked unconscious, and when I arrived they already stripped you naked soo" he stopped there

" wait you are ' Mysterio guy'?" she didn't expect it

" that is what you named me?" with an eyebrow raised

" Don't judge me, I woke up in the hospital and my parents told me that some boy saved me and call them but he was gone when they arrived at the hospital" she explained " I didn't know what to call you so I gave you Mysterio guy. " Riley saw so shocked to find out that he was the Mysterio guy. and he was her first crush " so it was not intentional," she asked in a low tone

" no it wasn't" he then smiled at her " but I enjoyed it " her eyes fell wide open. Riley didn't know when her fist made its way to his face but with ease, he tilt down dodging the punch

" you are such a pervert " she yelled angrily

" No am not. here " he said handing the clothes over to her. immediately her anger faded " brought you clean clothes"

" Thanks " she collected them " Max has a sister," she asked with curiosity in her tone as she notice they were female cloths

" No, I bought them " he replied " I went out with Max while you were asleep "

" wow, I sleep deep " she whispered" thanks anyway " Aiden turn around to leave but stopped.

" Riley " he called as he turn back to face her

" yes"

" you want to learn control right "

" yes? " she had a little bit of confusion in her tone

" I can teach you if you want " his words put a small smile on her lips

" Really?"

" Yeah. besides, you are a first learner so we won't have a problem " he said " I can teach you as much as I can "

" I would love that," she said. Aiden was so glad that she agreed. Max was right. He knew Aiden too well to know that he won't just take her back, he would do something and that is what he want to do. since he can't protect her from the organisation, he will teach her to protect herself

" good, " he smiled " we will start tonight " with that he left the bathroom not giving Riley a chance to say anything.

Riley wore the clothes. a loose pair of trousers and a shirt, She felt so comfortable in them. She finish drying her hair and then made her way downstairs to the sitting room. where she found Aiden sleeping on the couch " he is sleeping already" she whispered not wanting to wake him up " he must be tired ". she walked slowly towards the couch he was on, bent down and the room was taken by silence.

Riley quietly watches the beautiful creature sleep. she couldn't help but admire his beauty. But for a very odd reason, he looked bothered and unhappy. this was the first time Riley saw this which made her wonder why. what was making him unhappy? all of a sudden Aiden's eyes slowly opened taking her by surprise, and they were both trapped in each other's gaze. she felt her heartbeat increase and his eyes slowly fell on her lips " I....i.I didn't mean to wake you " she managed to say while Aiden silently watched her lips move. it was appetizing. he looked back into her eyes

" I wasn't sleeping " his voice make her belly tickle, and her heart raced even more

" Are you alright," she asked trying to take her mind off the whole thing

" yes. Why?"

" I just thought that something was bothering you that is why I asked, " she said looking down to avoid his eyes and he smiled because she looked adorable

" am fine " he replied

" ok " she stood up and began walking away

" and where are you going " he stopped her. Riley looks around as she also questioned herself' where am I going ' she thought. she watches Aiden get off the couch and then said "let's go out "

Aiden leads Riley to the backyard. it was dark, she could barely see a thing " why are we out here?"

" to train?" he didn't expect her to ask that question

" oh "

" Close your eyes," he said.

" why " confusion in her tone

" just do it " she didn't ask any further questions and did as she was told and in a few seconds he said " open "

" wow " Riley was in shock at the sight in front of her. they were in a different place. the sky was bright, a wide field with green grasses, flowers, trees and a waterfall. that familiar smell of flowers hit her nose. a gasp escaped her lips " this place is beautiful " looking around with eyes felled with admiration " where is this place

" my world " he replied " where I train "

" you can create your world?" she was shocked

" you have no idea how powerful you are, do you? you only know the destructive part of your ability. there is more to it " she watches him wave his hand slowly on the grass below him and the grass began to grow taller

" what the fuck " she whispered

" Language" she frowned at his correction

" Seriously, stop doing that "

" when watching your language," he said and she rolled her eyes at him

"Whatever. time to teach me " she said

" ok. first what exactly can you do on your own "

" I can move things "

" what kind "

" objects. usually, I just move plates and cups and fold my laundry"

" Can you move a car, control plants, water, earth, or create things," he asked

"Not when am on my right sense"

" then you have a lot to do "

" I know " rolling her eyes
