The sound of Renny's heartbeats continued to be heard, getting faster and more irregular when she saw a handsome man this close. He caught her body before falling to the floor.

Who was the man who caught her?

Why was he so handsome? He was the most handsome man Renny had ever met. His deep black eyes kept staring at Renny, making Renny drown even more in his charm. Renny could not take her eyes off them, enchanted by the beauty of the man's face.

[Who is he?] She asked in her heart.

Renny still wrapped her arms around Jayden's neck, and Jayden's hands were still lodged in Renny's slim waist.

"Until when are we going to be like this?" Jayden's whisper made Renny's face blush. Renny immediately got up, trying to stabilize her body again, standing still in her high heels.

"Come on." Jayden offered his elbow, and Renny put her arm inside. Accepting Jayden's offer with hesitation.

"Ye-yes."

Renny followed Jayden's footsteps —as gracefully as possible— which led her to meet the King and Queen. Occasionally Renny glanced at Jayden. This man was very handsome and charismatic. Renny couldn't stop looking at him with awe. She wanted to touching his silver silky hair, down to the sharply black eyes, and then pointed at the tip of his nose, ending with swapped his red lips.

"You can continue to admire me after we marry, Princess. For now, focus on your footsteps." Jayden smiled while teasing Renny.

"What the heck, who is starting at him?" Renny whispered, she felt her cheeks become very hot.

"I kneel before the Great Sun and Majestic Moon of Wei. Long live for the King and Queen." Renny bowed slightly in front of the King and Queen along with Jayden. She lit her dress slightly and put one leg behind the other one. A body language for a lady to respect the elder or leader.

"Good Girl, you look prettier than in the picture, My Child. Jayden's choice is amazing." praise from the King kept flowing from his mouth. Renny smiled, very, very sour and stiff.

An elder elegantly walked over and stopped in front of the 5 pieces of boxes that was carrying by royal family. Loudly, the old man explained the dowry to Renny one by one. Renny's eyes widened when she saw the beauty that was presented before her eyes.

"First one, Red Claw Diamond crown. This is the official crown for the Crown Princess. Worn during coronation and official state events." The man pointed to the first box which contained a magnificent crown with glowing red rubies in the center of two jaguars' claws.

"Second, Seven Sea Pearl crown. This tiara is worn during social events and royal banquets. Made with seven black pearls from seven different seas." the second box contained a tiara filled with diamonds surrounding each of the seven black pearls.

"The third one, Pink Dove crown. A tiara specially made for you, Princess, was designed by His Highness the Crown Prince himself and done by the best jewelery craftsmen in the world. Using a rare pink diamond. This tiara will be pinned during this proposed procession." The tiara shown by Marquess Oren looked so beautiful with a pair of doves completing its frame. Dove was the symbol of sincere and loyal love. Jayden wanted Renny to know that his love for her was sincere.

"Fourth, Gold Jade ring. And the fifth is the White Jade ring. White jade and gold jade are your wedding rings, engraved with a special technique with black jaguar blood as ink." The last two boxes were their wedding rings, still according to the royal the tradition of writing names with jaguar blood. The difference was that jaguars didn't feel hurt now because of modern times, they just have to take their blood with injections.

Renny looked in awe at the five sparkling objects in front of her eyes. even if she was working all her life she would not be able to afford them. Even in dreams she would not be able to have it. Now she's going to wear one of them, right on top of her head. Renny was truly touched.

Renny continued to swallow her saliva, who knows what to pay after receiving all this luxury?

Love?

Happiness?

or... Tears and Sadness?

"Come here, Princess!" King Jared took the Pink Dove crown from Marquess Oren's hand.

Renny slowly approached and lowered her head. Receiving a beautiful crown as a symbol of surrendering herself to become the legitimate Crown Princess.

[After all of this, is my life going to be okay?] thought Renny. She closed her eyes when she now her head, praying that everything would be okay.

King Jared put the crown on top of Renny's head. The girl could imagine how expensive this tiara was.

Jayden smiled with satisfaction, he returned to help Renny stepped backwards and occupied space on his side again. Now that Renny's attributes were complete, she only needed one step more to become the Crown Princess. Just counting the days until their marriage was carried out and her coronation as Crown Princess was fulfilled.

"You are beautiful." Praised Jayden.

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Renny hid her blush.

All the guests and the audience smiled very widely. They clapped their hands, and all the proposed series from the Royal Family had been done smoothly. Renny's parents cried with emotion seeing that their daughter would grow up to become a future First Lady. Only Queen Dyna didn't look too happy. She kept forcing herself to smile and hoped her decision wasn't wrong.
