Stargazing

[Author's POV]

"OUCH"

Chaewon exclaimed as she fell from her bed. She didn't get hurt but of course, her dramatic ass had to make a scene. She rubbed her butt on which she landed and kicked the air while thinking its Sunwoo she was kicking.

A week passed by since Sunwoo and Chaewon talked to each other. She missed his annoying ass a little bit if being honest. She hates him more than anything, and even planned of making him a drink with strawberries in it since he was allergic, She would look at his contact number that was saved as 'Mr.Raccoon' and would smile a bit.

He was never home and Chaewon was always busy hanging out with Changmin, Jimin, and Hyunjae. She got close to Hyunjae as he used to visit sometimes with Jimin.

Chaewon was sitting on the couch holding cards as she eyed them thinking which to pick. Jimin and Hyunjae sitting in front of her waiting for her to drop a card.

Chaewon: "Two of 9 diamonds."

She dropped two cards on top of the cards that were previously dropped.

Hyunjae: "HAHAHA...I WON"

He laughed while poking his cheek. Cute

Chaewon: "How"

Hyunjae: "I dropped a K"

Chaewon: "But I dropped two of 9, What the heck"

Jimin: "That doesn't matter, the bigger number does"

Jimin and Hyunjae started laughing together as Chaewon just rolled her eyes.

Hyunjae: "Come on, this is the fourth round. You're losing dumbass"

Chaewon: "Who the fuck did you just call Dumbass? You dumbfuck"

Hyunjae pointed at Chaewon and got up to run.

Chaewon: "YAH"

She threw a flying slipper at him and HEADSHOT.

Hyunjae rubbed his head, still running as Chaewon was chasing him around the Kitchen. Jimin laughing while enjoying the whole Tom & Jerry scene. Suddenly the main door burst open revealing Sunwoo

Sunwoo: "The fuck is going on here?"

He asked looking at all the cards thrown on the couch and Chaewon giving Hyunjae a headlock. She let Hyunjae go as she stood straight and Hyunjae tried his best to hold his laughter.

Sunwoo looked at Chaewon who was standing beside Hyunjae. He didn't want to see her face but yet he was staring at her. How close she was standing next to Hyunjae, almost touching his arm made him have a weird feeling. Jealousy?

A week passed by since he got a glance at her face. He missed it, he missed the little pissing her off in the mornings. He missed the way she would bite her lip when he called her princess or kitten but he hated how she was so close with Hyunjae.

It's not that he was away for a week, he came home late and by then Chaewon would be in deep sleep or mostly on the couch so he didn't talk to her at all.

Jimin: "We were playing cards"

Jimin spoke as he got up and walked towards Chaewon and Hyunjae, separating them a bit from each other as he understood Sunwoo's expression when he saw them.

Hyunjae: "We'll get going"

Hyunjae spoke and dragged Jimin with him as they grabbed their jackets and left while giggling which Sunwoo obviously heard.

Sunwoo: "Hi?"

He spoke with his eyes on her as she looked at him.

Chaewon: "Hey"

She replied as she walked towards the kitchen countertop. Her voice made him feel some kind of sensation he wasn't familiar with. Was it hatred?

Sunwoo: "You've been ignoring me the past week"

Chaewon: "Didn't feel like talking to you, I waste your time anyway and am a waste of money so I thought you don't wanna talk"

Ouch. Sunwoo regrets the words he said that day. He walked towards her placing his long coat on the sofa and losing his tie a bit.

Chaewon: "Juice?"

Sunwoo: "Sure"

She handed him a glass of mango juice and took one too, walking towards the couch and cleaning the mess they made. Sunwoo stared at her as she was picking up the cards scattered on the couch. Ignoring how he felt for her, he walked upstairs to his room.

Walking downstairs after taking a shower and changing into a T-shirt and shorts, Sunwoo drank water as he saw a figure outside the balcony beside the kitchen near the end.

[Sunwoo's POV]

Seeing Chaewon sitting down on the floor while hugging her knees as she looked at the sky. I walked over to her and quietly sat down next to her. She almost jumped when she saw me but acted tough and looked back at the sky.

Sunwoo: "The moon is really pretty tonight"

Chaewon: "Hmm"

She inhaled a heavy breath and exhaled loudly as I watched her every move. She was smiling while looking at the stars, I joined her, watching the stars do nothing and just staying in one place but they were just so perfect. I decided to speak as none of us spoke for almost 2 minutes.

Sunwoo: "So what are you doing here? It is almost 12"

Chaewon: "Watching my mom"

She spoke as a comfortable silence fell between us again. I know her mom passed away and I also know how much she loves her, unlike my mom.

Chaewon: "It's her death anniversary"

She looked down at her hands and stared at them as I could see a tear rolling down her cheek and the first thing I could think of was wipe it and I did. I reached my hand on her chin and lifted her face making her look towards me. Wiping her tear with my thumb as she stared at me with her hair strands covering her face.

I couldn't help but realize how gorgeous she was.

Sunwoo: "You're really pretty"

I spoke as her eyes were still on mine. I wanted to kiss her, this time I want to touch her lips. She blinked several times and I glanced at her lips, she was biting her bottom lip while playing with her fingers. I wanted to lean in but saw a dark figure from the side of my eye behind Chaewon. It was in the woods, not an animal but a person staring at us.

And I was hundred percent sure, it was one of my enemies. How did they find me here? Fuck this was dangerous. Chaewon was in Danger. I kept on looking in that direction to see any signals of open fire.

Chaewon: "Did something happen?"

She asked with a worried face while looking at me.

Sunwoo: "We need to get inside"

I glanced once more at the figure and took Chaewon inside, locked the door, and walked towards the main door to check if it was locked.

Sunwoo: "Chaewon, can you go check the windows upstairs?"

She nodded and ran upstairs as I walked towards the garden door. It was locked too.

[Chaewon's POV]

I checked the windows and balcony doors of my room and they were locked. I twisted the handle to Sunwoo's door as I glanced it in. It was the first time I'm seeing his room, he never allows me.

I went inside and the room was all dark. I turned the light on and saw a brown wooden polished floor with black walls and a giant bed in the middle with black sheets on it. His very own picture frame hanging on the wall, a smart flat screen tv attached to the wall in front of his bed. A fancy-looking door was slightly opened as I glanced in and saw all his clothes. It must be the closet as his shoes, suits, t-shirts, pants, hoodies, shorts, and ties, were lying all organized.

I walked towards the balcony door and locked it and was about to walk out but noticed something shining from his closet when I turned the lights off. I was about to check but Sunwoo came.

Sunwoo: "Everything is locked?"

I almost got a heart attack when he suddenly spoke.

Chaewon: "Try to give me warnings before just popping out of nowhere and scaring the shit out of me"

He smiled and fuck I was staring AGAIN. Why does he send butterflies to my stomach? He was too close to me and I'm supposed to hate him but I can't?

Sunwoo: "Sleep with the doors locked tonight"

I nodded not knowing what he meant but also don't want to know what he meant or I might not sleep.
